"Nothing to do with Islam" - Liberals just don't get it

The interests of modern day liberalism and Islamists are in concert because none of the goals of either can be achieved without first bringing capitalism to its knees. Islam thus becomes a surgical tool of the left, while political correctness and belligerent rhetoric combine to anesthetize the patient. The doctors are not trying to remove the cancer from the patient, they are attempting to insert it.

We are being duped. Our problem has never been “radical” Islam, our problem is Islam. Whether it is a religion or not is irrelevant-what is relevant is that its goal is anarchy, without which the left’s utopian dream cannot become reality.

So they purport to be at odds, but theirs is truly a marriage of convenience. We should not be surprised that liberals would want to defend Islam, they have common goals.

I can no longer see my liberal friends as merely wrong, as benign. It is sad, but the ideological and strategic union with Islamism makes liberalism an existential threat that it has never been in this country. “Tolerance” can no longer be a virtue. There is no solution to the Muslim problem that does not involve consequences that accrue to all Muslims. Our “goodness” is being used against us, and will kill us all in the end if we don’t recognize and acknowledge the charade for what it is.
