Did you even read your link:

“Unlike most other airlines that failed during this time period, the Shuttle was still a valuable asset given its business-oriented customer base and access to slot-controlled airports in New York and Washington.

Citibank put the airline up for sale, and after some lengthy negotiations with Northwest and American, settled on a deal with USAir Group.

CITIBANK GOT THEIR $$$!

No and your reading abilities suck almost as badly as my writing abilities - almost, mind you.

This is yet another display of astounding arrogance and business illiteracy. Just astounding. They don’t teach high finace in J-school, and apparently glorified bloggers don’t much look into it before spewing, either.

What crap.

Which is why I requested a clarification. I still wonder what that means.

Find a good English teacher and perhaps they will help you with the conundrum. I am done.

Trump is a low life sleaze ball who will use anyone for his benefit and will screw them over if he can.

Lots of "interesting", to say the least, information about Trump, both in the article and in the comments. (Didn't know the Trump University law suits are still going.)

Negatives are definitely something you have to consider when choosing who you want for POTUS.

The Democrats will use the failed bussiness' and RICO lawsuits against Trump.

Doesn't mean he can't overcome it (Especially if Hillary runs for the dems).

But IMO Cruz is the better choice because he has less negatives , and has the best Conservative record.

While bad business deals/ illegal immigration have been very big problems- At the root of all our troubles is the fact that we have gotten away from, and need our country to get back to, the Constitutional and Judeo-Christian principles that make us a great nation.

That is what will put us back on track.

Ted Cruz is the best person for this job-not only because he knows our history and Constitution-but because he can also explain to people why these matter, and how they benefit everyone.

I also like that he is very open about his Christian faith, in spite of the fact that it irritates those who hate that our country has a Judeo-Christian foundation, and would like us all to forget about it.

I will continue to pray that Ted Cruz is our next president.

You don’t seem to understand what ‘default’ means. Yes, they sole the assets, but THEY DIDN’T GET BACK WHAT WAS OWED! They were stiffed by Trump. If it was worth more than was owed, it would still be called Trump Airlines.

As I stumbled upon this silly thread, it was my intent to post something close to what you just did - I’d love to hear from those in Cruz’s corner, other than Mike Lee, there seems to be no one. Dershowitz touting his brilliance doesn’t influence me one bit, since dirty dershowitz plays with little girls, his perspective is meaningless.
Then again, it’s been said there is a fine line between brilliance and insanity. Ted has a likability issue that cannot be ignored. I just don’t see how he can win with that reality hanging on him, aside the other issues, some of which you outlined here.

But hey, I believe his fans truly enjoy spinning tales about Trump and giggle like kids when they come up with new names for us - sigh, where have the adults gone?
