"I draw the line at abortion". If I heard it then so did everyone else.

Planned Parenthood has a single budget.

Do you understand that?

Oh of course everyone heard it, but people who support one particular candidate want to leave the full quotes out so as to fit the desired dishonest construction.

If PP did not offer abortions no one would have a problem with them because, as Trump said, they do provide some important services - exams, testing and treatment for STDs, pregnancy testing, contraception. The type of women who avail themselves of those services there have no money. They are the poorest women, and would likely not seek any attention if they didn’t have a place where it was free to them. I think some county health dept.s offer some of those services, but not all do.

But because Trump said they do offer some good and necessary services, well that means he supports abortions.

Good grief. As if none of us have our own ears.

“Congress is going to fund it regardless of who is in the WH”

No it will not. If Cruz is in the white house, he will not authorize the spending. He has already shown he is willing to shut down the government. If he is president, Planned Parenthood will lose its billions of tax dollars.

If a politician is for Planned Parenthood, wants Universal Healthcare, and blames Bush, common sense dictates that he be called a progressive democrat. No, but his name is Donald Trump and he is going to conserve conservatism.

He could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and his followers would still support him.

What is the secret to the spell that he casts over people?

There is no secret, because there is no spell. Trump's policies are unimportant to his supporters.

The motto of Trump supporters can be summarized in three frequently heard words, "I don't care."

Why don't they care?

As Podhoretz said, his toxicity and bullying is actually appealing to his supporters. Some people LIKE bullies.

“He praised the non-controversial aspects”

What non-controversial aspects?

Teaching kids how to have deviant sex?

Giving kids birth control? And hiding their kids health issues from their parents?

Or the non-controversial, perfectly-fine with fiscal conservatives, awarding of billions of tax dollars to an organization that donates to candidates, runs political ads, and is 100% aligned with abortionists and against pro-life conservatives?

Did Trump praise PP last night, or not? Easy "yes or no" question.

Why shouldn't people donate money to the Klan? I hear that 2% of their budget goes to ice cream socials.

"So that means he'll fund PP, just not the abortion part. In other words, nothing changes."

Your assumption. If they are not allowed to use federal funds for abortion, they'd have to open separately staffed facilities, which can easily be confirmed as such by checking their books.

Plenty of support for ending PP abortion funding, and doing so would pretty much end PP.

do I understand that? No, I’m only a tax accountant for a Fortune 500 company, how could I possibly understand that.

Does Trump advocate for full defending of PP? The answer is no.

Yes, Trump does advocate full defunding of PP. You should listen into some of his rallies, he covers this stuff over and over.

You’re underestimating the power center that keeps the abortion factory pumping. Look at the decision on the tapes made in Texas. Sure, the court that decided the case was liberal, but they in fact SHOT THE MESSENGER. Eventually there will be real shooting. This is a crumbling society. Trump is not a savior.

No he doesn’t. Sorry, but I can’t base my vote on what a candidate says today when it’s the opposite yesterday. How can anyone believe anything Trump says? Which positions do you believe? They change every hour.

Uh huh. Again. There’s ample public support to defund. Trump won’t have a problem working with congress -ample support there too- getting it done.

The court issue is on an unrelated point of law.

I believe Trump on trade. He is a workaholic, a free-market success story who will bust his butt to fix the economy.

I believe him on the 2nd Amendment, has a carry permit and almost always has gun on him. Entire family avid supporters of gun rights.

I believe him on immigration. He has bemoaned this problem for years saying something has to be done or we don’t have a country.

I believe him on defending free speech and Christianity. Again, not new issues with Trump, he’s seen the attacks.

I believe him on rebuilding our military, taking care of the Vets. Has been working with Vets for years and always very strong on military.

Those are some things I believe and if he delivers on those, I can’t ask for more. Especially since he’s not owned by donors like every other candidate so can do what he promises. Also, Trump is known for his word, its his bond and he keeps it.

He didn’t keep his word to his wives or children. If he can’t do that he won’t keep it to the country. Cheats on his wives, will cheat on his country.

Oh my, judgmental aren’t we. Trust me there are far worse sins than adultery. Take the establishment killing off America, take Cruz and Rubio supporting TPA/Fast Track which guarantees Obamatrade. Take the waffling Cruz/Rubio team on amnesty who don’t really change their opinions just wait for the right time to put them out. Who both love H1b visas because their cheap labor donors require it.

Oh yeah, that adultery thing’s a real deal breaker, not!

It’s a little thing in the midst of a war. I’d love to have someone who fit every single item on my checkoff list but that’s never going to happen.

I’m telling you to look at the big picture and the fact that if you elect another government insider, your high standards will be history as will be your freedom.
