If you've done a string of events with other public speakers, it's pretty easy to memorize chunks of their speeches.

Sometimes you're repeating them silently as part of staying focused rather than staring at the ceiling, looking at your watch, etc. because you've heard the speech so many times.

Conservatives don't like it. Every time Trump insults Cruz, the audience boos. There's a good opportunity for either candidate to rise above the level of a Worldstar cellphone video.
