The first time I ever saw that term, “full-throated” used in this manner, it was used to describe Orly Taitz. I found it bizarre then, and am suspicious whenever I see it now.
That is what Rushbo called Rubio - a “Full Throated Conservative”. When I hear the term I think of the late L. Lovelace.
