CPAC laid an embarrassing trap for Donald J. Trump...but the Trump team got wind of it, and wisely & rightfully so, opted out of the Trump speech & attendance to the now failed CPAC, in order to correctly continue campaigning for his GOP POTUS nominee slot!!!
CPAC is now 100% controlled by the GOP Establishment, who now have both Ted Cruz & nutcase, Glenn Beck (who wants to endlessly stab Donald J. Trump...a thousand times (what a guy Ted Cruz has hanging on to him), in their corner. These evil political actions, all should suffice to say enough about now failing and "lost-at-sea" CPAC...What idiots!!! CPAC has commited its very own "Hari-Kari"!!!

Glenn Beck Under Investigation For Alleged Threat Against Trump

DALLAS (CBS11) – Conservative radio host Glenn Beck is under investigation after a comment he made on his radio show when talking about GOP front-runner Donald Trump. Beck says his comment was not directed towards the presidential candidate.
This appears to be a misunderstanding but the Secret Service tells CBS11 it’s aware of the comment and will conduct an appropriate follow-up investigation.
During his radio show Friday morning, Beck and his producers were talking about the other candidates saying they would support Donald Trump if he becomes the Republican nominee.
His producer mocked Beck after Beck mentioned being in the shoes of Trump’s rivals:
“Was it gigantic shoes?” asked the producer Stu Burguiere.
“If I was close enough and I had a knife. Really. I mean the stabbing just wouldn’t stop,” Beck responded, appearing to direct his comments at Burguiere.
Burguiere said on Facebook, “It was reported that Glenn had threatened to stab a presidential candidate this morning which was odd since I was on the show with him and didn’t notice anything like that… Of course, if you were listening, you know that Glenn actually threatened me, not Donald Trump, so I am in the odd situation of defending my boss for threatening my life.”
The reason the Secret Service said it’s doing a follow-up investigation is because they protect Trump.
Beck’s radio show is based out of Las Colinas and they did not respond to requests for comment Friday.
The desperation of Ted Cruz has led him into wayward paths.
Even just the perception of being now linked with the GOPee hurts his brand of conservatism. Reagan didn’t win in ‘76 but he didn’t go all out desperate. Ted should have kept his focus on the Washington cartel and the DemRats leftisms.
Oh yeh that Glenn Beck is an albatross around the neck too.
CPAC has turned into is a sad collection of fake conservatives, amnesty pimps, and beta male National Review groupies. A shame.

IMO, CPAC not only jumped the shark once before, they have just circled the boat and repeated the performance. One wonders why no candidate has pointed this out, let alone condemned CPAC for their stance.

After a while, I turned it off never to listen again to his breathless proclamations of "Breaking Soon! Add a heaping helping of Goldline infomercials and "Listen to me and only me as I tell it like it REALLY is!" And I have never listened again.
Well, except the other day to hear what he might have to say about Mytthens Romney's screed. And that lasted about 2 minutes before I started scanning the radio to see if anyone else was on.
Then I realized that exactly the same thing happened with Ted Cruz. One year ago I was telling anyone and everyone to pay attention to this guy. He's really a good, conservative Senator. Slowly but surely, that turned to, "Who the heck is this guy and what has he done with Senator Cruz?"
Thus, I can understand why these two are attracted to one another.
And as for Fox News, turned them off when they hired Gerald-0. Which was almost a year after I could no longer stomach BOR and turned him off.
These professional politicians are getting rich. Look at Lamar Alexander whose only job besides politics was head of University of TN which is really a political job. He is worth over 11.5 million now. These punks steal a million off the top of donations the first year. Rubio and Cruz have not served one term and they damn sure are not broke. When Truman left office he had very little. It is high time to cut the pay of these do nothings.

The only way Glenn Beck would get banned from CPAC would be if he brought up CPAC's normalizing of islamization (as I mention in #16). Glenn was at one time very solid and seemingly uncompromising in his defense of Israel, but he appears to have "evolved" on that as well as other matters.
