“Awesome!

The GOPe is one step closer to their brokered conventions where they will promptly kick Cruz to the side and give the nomination to Bush, Rubio or Mitt.

And you guys will be sitting there like slack-jawed yokels wondering what happened.

No wonder the right always ends up with their face in the dirt. “

So I guess we’re all just supposed to accept “reality” and vote Trump since he has like 330 delegates and you need 1237 to win the nomination? Cruz stated clearly last night to Hannity that he’s trying to win this during the primaries, not at the convention. According to the count I saw, he came in to today less than 100 delegates behind Trump and if he takes 3 of 4 today (the 3 caucus states I presume), he may cut Trumps lead to 75 or less.

Despite the narrative you’re trying to create, we still believe we can win the nomination outright. True, Trump has the momentum and he’s in the driver’s seat, but you guys are gonna have to earn it.

I’m a strong Trump supporter but congrats to Team Cruz on a solid victory, and I’ll be happy to vote for him if he should become the nominee.

Remember who the real enemies of liberty and justice for all really are!

“Notice Trump wins the states that democrats can vote in.”

That’s a feature, not a bug. Democrat candidates have won the popular vote in 5 out of the last 6 elections.

Yeah because the establishment loves Cruz! Trump is a liberal, doesn’t do well without Democrat crossovers voting to give Hillary an easy opponent

Yup.

They dont want Trump, and they made it as public as they could.

They also dont want a frigging Jr. Senator that is too full of himself, but they will harness his self-righteous base, full of “talk radio courage” and use it to fudge as many contests as possible. Once there will be no majority candidate going into the convention, then Cruz will outlive his usefulness and he will be gone.

But you cant tell them anything. They still think politics is all chance and surprise. It’s adorable.

So what. I’d rather trump win Michigan, Florida and Ohio.

Didn’t he win in Nevada? Hasn’t he lost in every other state where Democrats can vote in the Republican primary.

I read that 1/3 of Maine voters are registered independents. That means they cannot vote in a republican caucus. The caucus system appears to disenfranchise the independent and crossover votes that would help in an open primary and general election. Kind of like shooting yourself in the foot.

"That’s what happens when Republicans vote in Republican contests. Notice Trump wins the states that democrats can vote in.

It is very important to have closed contests as Safe Zones for those who can't handle something similar to a general election. They give people time to share feelings and be sheltered from the world. I support them.

“So I guess we’re all just supposed to accept “reality””

You can “accept” whatever you want.

But GOPe reality is going to sock you right in the face, and there isnt enough RedState or NRO articles to sew your mouth back into place after you hit the floor.

“Cruz stated clearly last night to Hannity that he’s trying to win this during the primaries”

He is nothing but a flea to be flicked off when the gope no longer has to put up with his buzzing. He is just a tool for them to get their brokered convention and nothing more.

No, not at all, most of them who are voting for Trump are as dissatisfied with the Democrat establishment as we are with the GOP!

And very few GOP voters engaged in that nonsense.

Call it for what you want, but once again, Cruz has outperformed the polls. Trump was expecting a win in Kansas and was trounced today.
