Cruz sided with #BLM and #MoveOn.

Another Trump lie. Cruz condemned both the protesters AND Trump.

Wow - took a few minutes to look at all of your recent posts - what a real piece of work you are- can’t have a civil conversation without name calling or attacking people on their looks, etc. You offer no substance - only personal attacks. Suggest you change your Freeper name to ShallowGuy.

Consider 1 Corinthians 14:23.

Yes, unbelievers thought Jesus was mad too, so His people can expect the same. As He said, if they have persecuted Me, they will persecute you also.

Thankfully, we have God’s Word as a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path.

“Well, my brothers and sisters, let’s summarize. When you meet together, one will sing, another will teach, another will tell some special revelation God has given, one will speak in tongues, and another will interpret what is said. But everything that is done must strengthen all of you.”

I Corinthians 14:26

Yes, it is.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/09/01/5-facts-about-dominionism_n_945601.html

“The term ‘Dominionism’ was popularized in the 1990s by scholars and journalists, who applied it to conservative Christians seeking political power... Many conservative Christians dismiss the attention on Dominionism as liberal fearmongering.

Keep in mind this is an article from left-wing journalists who agree with you. They repeatedly mention “experts”, but fail to identify any.

The term did NOT come from theologians in a traditional seminary or Bible school. Christian are entitled to have differences of opinion. Not every difference of opinion is a heresy.

Applying the term “dominionism” to Christians has typically been done as a leftwing marketing effort to discredit Christian influence in politics.

“Dominionism” is being applied to diverse groups that come from very different theological backgrounds. Within Calvinistic groups, some scholars have been critical of Christian Reconstructionism which often has elements of what is being labeled “dominionism”. At the same time, some Pentecostal groups (quite different doctrinally from most Calvinists), have adopted a Kingdom Now theology which is also being labeled as “dominionist”.

The term has proven useful to disparage Christian influence in the political realm in spite of the fact this nation was explicitly formed to accommodate the pervasive role and influence of Christianity in society. Additionally, the role of traditional Christianity has been constantly attacked and sidelined for decades so that today none of the nine Supreme Court justices (including the recently deceased Scalia) are evangelical Christian despite being a sizable part of the population.

Debating the merits of so-called “Dominionism” is a discussion that belongs in the religion forum. There is no conspiracy of crazy Christian heretics trying to take over the world for Christ. And if there were, it would be so ineffectual as to warrant no response save ignoring it.

On the other hand, Christians ARE highly under-represented in our current government. It is supposed to be a government of the people, for the people, and by the people.
