Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani in interviews with two Israeli newspapers praised Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, noting that, though the businessman is prone to exaggerate, the real Trump is thoughtful, intelligent and very well-educated.
Giuliani described himself as an informal adviser to Trump, confirming press reports last month that the candidate had recently conferred with Giuliani on campaign issues.
Maybe because of his background as the host of a reality TV show, I think he has sort of developed a television personality that is prone somewhat to exaggeration. The real Trump is not like that, Giuliani said in an interview with Israel Hayom published Monday. The real Trump is thoughtful, intelligent and very well-educated.
He has extensive political knowledge, and he chooses to support good people, so I dont understand all the fear about him, Giuliani said.
In an interview with the Jerusalem Post, Giuliani reiterated his characterization of Trump as having a proclivity toward exaggeration.
He wont like me saying this, but he is a man prone to exaggerate the way that he speaks, which is not necessarily the way he acts, the former mayor told the Jerusalem Post.
Its part of being a good negotiator. When he sits down and makes a decision, he is an exceedingly rational man. You need to separate the rhetoric from the reality, Giuliani said.
The former mayor said that he agrees with most of Trumps positions, though not all of them. Donald Trump has very strong views. I agree with most of them, not all of them. But he is a very good man, Giuliani said.

He admit to doing it. Its called Truth Hyperbole, innocent form of exaggerating
truthful hyperbole
The Blaze??? Glenn Beck...really???
I am surprised the Blaze’s servers didn’t crash posting something good about Trump...
Must be a sea change.
RUDY!!!!!
He’s a hero on Staten Island.
if Trump’s good enough for him, he’s good enough for me!!!
He had so much more to offer the country, imho.
71. Ah, he’s around Trump’s age. Maybe Trump could use him for something, or he could be mayor again at 74 :)
live out his days in office :)
It’s amazing how many of the Trump endorsers tell us that he’s not REALLY what you see. That absolutely does not float my boat. I simply have no clue what his policies would be as president, and the “he’s not as bad as he looks” endorsements don’t help me, at all.
The real Trump is thoughtful, intelligent and very well-educated.
He has extensive political knowledge, and he chooses to support good people, so I dont understand all the fear about him, Giuliani said...
Bona fide statement by a man who CRUSHED crime, turned around a city, and carried us here through 9/11 like a real leader!!
Rudy could bring in a lot of votes for Trump in certain areas of the state.
Not to worry.
He's still Marshall Applewhite.
He was saying this morning that blocking Trump is the last chance "to save the republic."
Well educated, but cannot even string 3 coherent sentences together.
I see.
You have to elect him to see what he’s really like.
Kind of like passing a bill to see what’s in it.
/baffled.
The fear of the unknown is pretty much non existent in American life ... we know almost everything even before the perpetrator perpetrates
And Trump out for Trump?
If it is a plus for the USA and Trump benefits also ... will you REALLY hold that against him .... or just go buy his book for understanding ?
Imagine a cheerleader who says “The USA Sucks”
Wait. That sounds like Barack Obama, Bernie Sanders, and Hillary Clinton.
Thing is, I have absolutely no doubt what Hillary Clinton’s policies would be.
Too bad the "real Trump" hasn't shown up all these months. Instead, we're getting the boorish, ignorant, immature Trump.
BFL.
Remind us again; which Ivy League university did you graduate from? And how many billions have you amassed?
Well you will have 4-8 years to whine about it while Trump fixes the problems. :-)
