Lindsey Graham Endorses Ted Cruz, Begins Fundraising Effort-The UniParty Unifies
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | 3-17-2016 | sundance

Posted on 03/17/2016 12:49:11 PM PDT by smoothsailing

In addition to the intense disinformation campaign from corporate media, the disinfecting sunlight from visible alliances is now exposing the entire DC-based UniParty political apparatus.

As apoplectic Paul Ryan supporting ‘conservatives’ gathered today to discuss how to protect the right side penthouse suites of the UniParty, the left-side residents have agreed to support the unified endeavors.

unipartyHouse Budget Chairman Paul Ryan

Erick Erickson, famous for his “Jeb Bush is the most conservative governor in history” comment, leads the charge to support Cruz from the right-wing punditry of the UniParty apologists. The insufferable idiocy of the Erickson wing is best highlighted by reviewing the words in their collective statement as presented after their meeting:

[…] we intend to keep our options open as to other avenues to oppose Donald Trump. Our multiple decades of work in the conservative movement for free markets, limited government, national defense, religious liberty, life, and marriage are about ideas, not necessarily parties. (link)

Well, there you have it. Decades of work for free markets, limited government, etc. In the proverbial words of Dr. Phil: “How’s that been working out for ya“? Because it’s been hell on everyone else.

Those “conservative free market principles” (through the past 30 years of UniParty construction) have created horrific trade deals and destroyed U.S. manufacturing and U.S. Jobs – the best evidence of historically stupid policy is always a simple look at the current results.

Those “conservative limited government principles“, (through the past 26 years of UniParty construction), Bush, Clinton, Bush and Obama, have given us everything from toilets that don’t flush -to- TSA pat-downs, NSA overreach, 5 trillion dollar wars in the mid-east, 300% bigger government and massive debt/deficits now totaling over $20,000,000,000,000.00 (trillion).

humor-in-nature8Um, Erick et al, you can keep your so called, f***ing “conservative principles”, in the same insufferable locale as the rest of your unified assembly. Go sell CPAC crazy someplace else, because the silent majority are done listening to the sham-wow pitch.

lindsey graham endorses Ted Cruz

Meanwhile, senator Lindsey Graham has now joined Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid and begun openly doing everything possible to assist the Ted Cruz campaign.

Today, Senator Lindsey Graham announced his full-throated support for Senator Ted Cruz, to include giving Cruz access to Graham’s extensive donor and lobbying lists for financial support.

[…] Sen. Lindsey Graham will host a fundraiser on Monday in support of Sen. Ted Cruz.

A draft of the invitation, obtained first by CNN, invites guests to “honor and support a great friend of Israel and the Jewish people,” at a meet-and-greet event that will take place during the AIPAC policy conference in Washington next week. (read more)

Well there you have it.

The UniParty is out in full force and openly visible for all to see – The Republicans and Democrats, the Decepticons, the Neo-Cons, the Progressive Left-Wing and Progressive Right-Wing all united in self-serving common cause.

And for the second half of the quote,,

“Well, what I’m saying,” Graham began, “you know, John Kasich, I think is the most viable general election candidate. I just don’t see how John gets through the primary. This is an outsider year, he’s seen as an insider. So I think the best alternative to Donald Trump — to stop him from getting to 1,237 [delegates] — is Ted Cruz.

Yep, definitely a full throated endorsement.(sarcasm)
Some of you have flipped your beanies.

Cruz must be the “lesser of two evils” in the mind of the GOPe. Nice to see them have to make that choice for a change. Whether is Trump or Cruz or both, times are changing for the monkeys in DC.

You don’t think Trump would welcome Graham’s support? Trump is as pragmatic as anyone. When someone says they will support you, you don’t say, “No thanks, I prefer to go it alone.” Politics makes for strange bedfellows.

Graham’s support of Cruz should tell conservatives everything they need to know about Cruz.

Graham doesn’t get it, this only helps Trump. It’s my opinion that Graham is on dope. Look at those eyes and his behavior is very suspect.

I don’t think it’s a case of the lesser of two evils, but, has everything to do with Cruz bending over - which he will. He’s so desperate that he will say and do anything and accept any endorsement to get elected. Cruzbots have their heads up their a**es.

This now confirms that the tentacles of the GOPe have Cruz firmly in their grasp.

They do not want Cruz either. They want a brokered convention to install their own. Simple

Well, that just shows how unlearned you are. I was originally a CRuz for Prez supporter/volunteer. Also did the same for his TX Senate run.

But, after his full fledged support for TPA - even going as far as to co-author an Op-Ed with Lyin Paul RINO Ryan - I had enough. UntrusTED has continued to expose his establishment self, ever since.

His joining forces with Neil Bush, joining the left by calling out Trump for the rally disrupters and now the continued GOPee memes/lies he’s foisting, against Trump, on the campaign trail have confirmed that my suspicions about CRuz were spot on.

Keep drinking the GOPee CRUzaid to fuel your own obsession.

I hadn't heard that Harry Reid was all-in for Cruz. Who writes this stuff? Read thru the thread...I know who believes it...

“The minute I heard Cruz speak for the first time I knew he was a snake”

People who think they have a divine gift to spot phonies and publicly insult them based on a gut feeling are themselves the “snakes” and “idiots”. In case your discernment fails you on this one, I am referring to people like you.

Did your discernment tell you Trump’s Christianity, in which there is no need to ask forgiveness, is the real deal? Is Trump the true prophet? Or maybe Obama? Mitt Romney and his magic underwear?

How about those abortion-promoting theologians? You don’t feel the need to attack their faith? But a pro-life, pro-family, pro-Constitution, who is rated the most conservative candidate by EVERY conservative organization based on his actual record is a “false prophet” because you could tell just by hearing his voice?

People with your view would be laughable if so much was not at stake.

Show me ONE conservative organization that tracks voting records and positions of politicians that does not give Cruz high marks for his conservatism.

I’m not asking for several, or three, or two. Just ONE.

Here is an example of reviews for Cruz and Graham:

So you are saying you have not been attacking Cruz for months and do not hate him as much as Planned Parenthood does?

Just clarifying.

Yeah. He's the only person running for office who will say anything to please anyone. I mean, it's not as if Trump would donate to Hillary one day, and some Republican the next.

You truly are ignorant, and have not one iota of business sense, so, it’s totally useless to argue with a moronic people. Anyway, this thread is about Lindsay and Cruz, but, as usual, when the Cruzbots can’t handle the truth, they point to a shiny object - to deflect it.

It appears you have learned your debating skills from Mr. Trump. He's taught you well.
