Don’t Trump supporters deserve safe spaces, or are those reserved only for “progressive” students?

Two anecdotal tales:
1) Back in the ‘60s the same type of “social justice activist students” were pulling this crap at one college. The professor stationed outside the classroom door, a couple of the biggest, meanest-looking football players he could find.
When these cretins started rampaging down the corridors, they flowed around that room like river water past a rock.
It seems to me that students nowadays who face this crap at their meetings should do something similar.
2) Around the same time, during the Cleveland race riots, many blocks of white-owned stores were burned out. One place stood out - not a mark on it. The press dug into why and found out that the owner had hired - you got it - two of the biggest, meanest black guys he cold find. He armed them with shotguns and stationed them outside his door.
Same river/rock result.
Hard-nose threat of force works wonders on the mob mentality.

My youngest brother is a hateful, angry leftist. This sort of violence is what he advocates. There is a civil war in our future; and, we won't start it.
Leftist have a very immature view of the world. They don’t under stand that there is no free ride, there is no utopia, and that the reality is that there is only hard work and taking care of oneself, which sometimes includes, if one chooses, sharing this burden with one’s spouse, as well as taking care of one’s children. Other then that life is hard, life is dirty, life is unfair, and has always been unfair and life will never be fair, since what one person or group thinks is fair is most likely considered unfair to another person or group. Life is about compromise as well as keeping one’s composure even when confronted with the indignity of the unjust, undignified raging violence that another uses to deny them of the rights that are for all not just for those who rage like a two year old having a tantrum.
These little Portland Red Guarders claim that Trump and his supporters don’t get free speech protection because they are engaging in “hate speech,” and if it’s hate speech, then leftist thugs are allowed to use whatever means to put down the event.
Of course, they are the ones who get to determine what is “hate speech,” and remarkably, it always seems to be opinions that they disagree with.
I know and i dont care what the reaction of the media will be.

We have to remember that Portland was one of longest continually-occupied “Occupy” camps in the country, and much of it was on Portland State University’s campus (where this occurred).

I saw an interview this morning with a reporter who was in Chicago in 1968, and she said it was horrible, frightening, etc.
