Both homes same brand. Work one is different brand. These are same keyboards I’ve had for well over a year, at least. Work one old as dirt, but worked before this. Did system restore on first computer that had problem.... still doing it.
I thought that was the number to reach emergency services?
If they are wireless they either have dead batteries or they are no longer synced. Turn off computer and keyboard. Do a hard reboot
Well if a keyboard locking up isn’t an emergency, then I don’t know what is.
NOT wireless. Hate wireless keyboards.
It’s called “aphasia.”
Is the mouse freezing up too?

Then it might be the wonders of Window 10
I swear Roy, if I have to come down there...
All 3 keyboards failed at the same time. Just go out and buy 3 new keyboards.
Sounds like you got the zika...
Starting to think so, but wondering why nobody else is experiencing it...
Nooo... because it will let type in at login, but not after...
The reason I ask is because I had a friend where the keyboard and mouse were freezing up.
If you can check the error logs in Adminstrative tools it might help you narrow it down, what is causing the issue. On my friends computer, it turned out to be network related and we narrowed it down to his old out of date DSL modem was causing both to freeze up.

Mice work fine, but not wireless either.
I’m looking into the windows updates...
Then feed some cheese to the moose that bit your sister.
Next...are you signed in?
If all else fails...call albaby.
(Hey, somebody would have, sooner or later...and you know it.)
Not too many wired keyboards out there any more
Found the answer, guys, it’s just strange that it affected all three computers, three different keyboards at the same time...
“Disable Filter keys without keyboard, open control panel (right click “Start:” button select control panel) go to ease of access>change how your keyboard works. find check box for “Turn on Filter Keys” clear it click ok and boom keyboard working again. “
Yeah, that’s weird all 3 computers having the same issue. Like someone else said, commonality.
The error logs in Admin Tools sometimes can help point you in the right direction.
