Hopefully someday we will have something more efficient.

I think we will stop calling them “fossil fuel” and start calling them “earth sap” or something like that, because it is being generated internally in the earth.

We have all the renewable energy we need with hydro. Praise God for franking technology to free America from the Islamofascists. This baloney is about empowering lefty’s with even more tax money. They’d tell us what color sneakers to wear if they could get away with it.

I would think we will always need some types of lubricating oil.

I used to tell my kids to drink “Earth pop” (water) when they said they were thirsty.

Unless zero point energy or some other magical sorcery replaces it, you can bet that every single ounce of fossil fuel will be burned.

Nuclear power generates no carbon. If the enviro-nimrods were serious, they’d be pressing for that. Ultimately, these neo-luddites want us to live in a pre-industrial revolution economy at the same time we’re getting hit from the other side for not living up to the societal demands of desert nomads barely out of the Stone Age.

As an alternative to limiting use of petroleum, maybe we could increase use of lampposts?

Not to mention the polymers, waxes and plastics derived from fossil fuels. Every time I visit a hospital, Im reminded about how much of our medical technology requires plastics.

Sure, one of these days we’ll find something better. But nothing we’ve figured out yet is better.

When I see a 15ton dump truck plowoing snow in the middle of winter and this truck is fueled by a set of solar panels that lasts as same as a full tank of diesel, then we are talking, mean while this conversation is a waist of time, period.

" since fossil fuel use has helped produce record warm temperatures worldwide."

And this is where the article shifts from science to propganda, thus rendering it idiotic.

Nope.

Next question.

Will nature ever stop creating and igniting fossil fuels?
