Well, the school can hold their nose and teach what the government requires and the parents can teach their children what they want at home. That’s what it will come to. However, I can’t believe that parents can march into a school and dictate what they want taught.
Mentally ill people should not be allowed to endanger a child. This 5 year old should be taken from them and given to a normal family, and the parents ought to be committed to a mental institution.
Time to put those FEMA camps to better use.

These parents and those like them should be drug out and shot. They are ruining kids. The kids should immediately be taken and given to a solid Christian family.

Being surrounded by nut-cases who are famous for simply being famous? I've wondered about that, myself. In reality, Bruce Jenner accomplished something relatively few people could. He was The Man when I was a kid. I ate Wheaties because of him. I hate Wheaties.
Now, he lives his life surrounded by half-wit millionaires who are famous simply because they exist. They did nothing of any worth to obtain this fame, their money, or their social status.
Maybe he'd finally had enough of the B.S. and decided that it was his turn in the spotlight again, and he figured out a way to do that.
The parents need to be immediately arrested, and the child needs to go to social services.

I grew up with a boy who would have loved to wear pink shoes to kindergarten. He showed signs of being effeminate and flamboyant as a very young boy. His parents loved him, didn’t shame him but never indulged him. They’d let him play Barbies with the girls but there was no question they’d buy him his own doll. Eventually he stopped playing with us girls and started to hang out with the boys, playing sports, got involved in Scouts etc but still, he was always the best dressed and groomed kid around. When he came “out” in college it wasn’t a surprise and last I heard he was in a long time relationship, had a good job and close to his family.
I had a niece who went through a period in early elementary school when she wanted to wear boys clothes. Her best friend was a boy and she wanted to dress like him. Thankfully she wore a school uniform but my sister in law bought my niece play clothes in the boys department. Eventually she grew out of it, and is a pretty,feminine straight woman.
Point being, a boy can like the look of pink shoes, maybe he’ll turn out gay, maybe he won’t but why does that mean he wants to be a girl? Wanting to wear boy clothes and play like a boy used to mean you were a tomboy, not that you wanted to be a boy.. To say their son wants to be a girl because at 5 he liked the look of pink shoes is perverse. Good luck to the kid and the school and to society. Meanwhile we have real problems but this is and bathrooms is what people are worried about.
My youngest son wanted to be a dinosaur when he was 5. I urged him to be a carnivore. The school district was so unfair in not letting him eat other children for lunch.
Why didn't the parents meet their own child's needs privately and get family counseling for their little outlier, rather than instruct him to invite disbelief on the part of the other kids of this departure from common sense? There has to be balance between individuality and society at large.
Most families do not want their kids to be lockstep conformists, but not to be outright rebels from the get-go, either. Balance, mom and dad. Balance. They were looking for a fight, and now they've got it, by thrusting their innocent child into the spotlight. Years of therapy ahead. These grifters want someone else to pay for it.
Headline “Minnesota Parents Sue To Get Trans Classes In Kindergarten” makes it sound like a plurality of parents.
Instead it is one couple campaigning for their one kid to disrupt the entire school system.
Put their kid in foster care and check the parents into an asylum for child abuse.
I think it is time to bring back flogging in the public square as a deterrent to encouraging such delusion.
I feel sorry for the kid.
