Burns Chronicles #20

In light of the many complaints filed against the Arnold Law Firm, attorneys for Ammon Bundy, over their method of raising funds to pay for a legal defense against a government back by hundreds of attorneys and millions of dollars, perhaps there is another side to this story that needs to be looked at.

Shawna Cox had the wherewithal to begin recording the events, from the first stop to the murder of LaVoy Finicum. In so doing, she recorded a moment of history that cannot be duplicated.

The conduct of the government in this case is itself a case for conduct to oust abusive government in defense of the Constitution. Hopefully the election of Donald Trump will go a long way to inspire people to stand against the establishment that orchestrates injustice like we’re seeing in Oregon.

Are there any apps that will upload video to a cloud server in real time as you film? That would prevent the authorities from taking the smart phone and destroying it or erasing the video footage.

The rays of light emanating from a scene belong to no one. They hit my retinas and they will hit my camera if I aim it there. By snapping a picture or recording a video I do not take them away from anyone.
Ergo, I can create a video of anything I want and no one has the right to stop me.
Similar reasoning for those vibrations of air called “voice.”

I have always used the same logic to defend intercepting and descrambling over the air signals, and of course of video/audio recording programs.

The Electronic Freedom Foundation won a court case concerning electronic generation of information, audio, and video, and who actually owns it years ago.

If it is created by ‘you’, ‘you’ own it, and no one has the right to it, other than ‘you’.

Which, if I remember, was part of what was behind that monkey selfie lawsuit.
