When he sided with BLM over Trump in Chicago, his dislike hit 100% in my household.

Before that, we were all planning to vote for him in the primary.

When he sided with BLM over Trump in Chicago, his dislike hit 100% in my household.

Before that, we were all planning to vote for him in the primary.

That was a watershed moment for me as well.

Instead of forcefully repudiating organized Left wing violence fomented against his own party, and showing solidarity with both the party and its frontrunner, Ted Cruz instead gave the thugs only a "lip service" rebuke, and then went on a hysterical diatribe against Donald Trump. He even threw in the "Trump campaign attacks reporters" smear just for good measure, which of course turned out to be a total setup and hoax.

Ted Cruz's statement exhibited a total lack of leadership, showed profound tone-deafness, and exposed him as an unprincipled, naked opportunist.

Many Cruz supporters began to defect after that incident, and rightly so.

I can also recall, before that incident, Ted Cruz actually playing the race card against Trump when the Media was perpetrating the "David Duke endorsement" smear.

Nothing is sleazier than playing the race card.

This was another clear opportunity for Ted Cruz to show principled leadership, but instead, he piled on, allying himself with the sleazy Left, Media, and GOPe.

And the worse thing is, Ted Cruz knew that the accusation was totally false and nothing but blatant demonization. Thus his attack was totally disingenuous.

Since those incidents, Ted Cruz has dutifully been carrying the GOPe water, and obediently smearing Donald Trump with hysterical lies at every opportunity. Cruz's "end justifies the means" tactics are indistinguishable from those of the Left, Media, and GOPe; they're all on the same page.

In fact, Ted Cruz acting and talking like a typical politician is precisely what has brought him to the sorry condition in which he finds himself now.

The vast majority of this community were Ted Cruz supporters early on, including myself. But Ted Cruz just isn't the man we though he was, after watching him over the last 6 months.

In desperation, Cruz has decided to cast his lot with the GOPe.

Apparently, Ted Cruz plans on limping into the GOP convention with, at best, about 700 delegates or so.

And then what's he going to do somehow, magically? He's going to seize the nomination from Donald Trump, displacing the party's clear frontrunner.

Then what? This is the most ridiculous part: after swiping the nomination, he will:

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is Cruz's best case scenario.

It would be laughable if it wasn't so dangerous.

Ted Cruz appears fully willing to sacrifice his own party, and even the country, on the altar of his own blind personal ambition. His egotism and malignant narcissism make Donald Trump's ostensible character deficits pale in comparison.

Donald Trump deserves to be the nominee. The vicious, slanted character assassination campaign Donald Trump has had to endure, unprecedented in the modern era, is absolutely despicable. An unholy alliance of the Left, Media, GOPe, and, of course, the Machiavellian Cruz campaign has been doing everything in their power to personally destroy an individual who only wants to work with the People to make America great again.

Donald Trump, however flawed he may be, is still standing tall, and deserves our goodwill and support, instead of hateful insults from the TDS™ crowd.

Vote Trump
