Flogging the straw man.
I cannot offer enough praise of Jonah Goldberg as a writer, nor can I recommend his weekly G-File report highly enough. Like most at National Review these days, Goldberg is strident in his opposition to Donald Trump, and he makes some of the most compelling arguments against Trump on a consistent basis.
Where Goldberg and I disagree, of course, is not on our candidate of choice (as far as I can tell we’re both for Ted Cruz), but on the question of what to do if Trump does indeed win the nomination. I’ve said, and I’ll say again, if Trump is the last man standing with a chance to keep Hillary out of the White House, I’ll do anything moral and legal to support him. Keeping Hillary out of the White House is that important, and dealing with Trump’s flaws would be a small price to pay compared with the horror of four years with that terrible woman in the White House.
I have zero use for Jonah Goldberg. I thought he went away with the Monica Lewinsky scandal. I prefer not to hear from him anymore.

The people by millions of voter chose Trump and he can't handle the truth where is the honor in that
So let him go back to selling Dove bars on the streets of Manhattan he feels so bad. Something tells me he’ll stay right where he is eventually trying to curry favor with President Trump.
Knotheads such as Goldberg have enough money to weather destruction wrought by the ‘RATS. Most of us don’t. Another Communist in the WH is unthinkable. I’m a Cruz voter for the primaries and a ‘Pub voter for the general. If Trump is the nominee, he needs to be supported. What he might do to the GOP “brand” is far less worrisome than what a Career Criminal definitely will do the country if she & her serial rapist spouse regain power.

Jonah was raised on the upper east side. Trump was born in Queens, which is enough reason for Jonah to hate him.
Jonah went to an all women’s college. I think strong men frighten him a bit.
Goldberg and most other “conservative” pundits are a colossal waste of time. If we had not figured that out already, this election made it very clear.
I hate to say it but Bill O'Reilly and Greta are the only two watchable at Fox.
For a couple of days Hannity was but he is back on Cruz.
Instead of Liberal Fascism, Jonah’s next book should be Cuckservative Fascism but it would hit too close to home.
1. I do not like Trump but planned to vote for him over Hillary if he should unfortunately win the nomination.
2. Jonah Goldberg did write a good book called Liberal Fascism
3. Jonah Goldberg is (as Ann Coulter described him) a girlie man; and,
4. "Never Trump" was a good issue of "National Review" (I know that most you disagree with my assessment).
That's pretty much what I have say about this.
Even long before Trump came along, I thought Jonah was vastly overrated as a thinker, writer and conservative.
Sadly, His mother has damaged her reputation as well with her Trump hate and despising and censoring Trump supporters.

There are two Jonah Goldbergs. One is thoughtful, conservative who writes well about a variety of issues. Then there is the Jonah Goldberg on a clear mission, not to boost a candidate, but to destroy one at all costs.
The costs have, in my opinion, included a loss all objectivity and not a little credibility, at least in my eyes. When Jonah went into the rock throwing business rather than the journalism business, he should expect a few thrown back.
