I find myself confused, then enraged.

Hello Everybody, I don't usually Rant, but I needed to say my piece and ask advice.

I have been listening to Talk Radio, reading on the internet, and reading views of others on FR, and wanted to share my confusion with you all.

I am a Trump supporter, but this is not about who you support if your a Republican. We are all beyond that at this point.

What I have been reading and hearing, are our Elected Representatives combined reactions to the people of this Nation selecting a Republican Candidate for POTUS.

It was a clear mandate, and will continue to be evidenced with continuing primaries that Donald Trump, for good or bad, is the Winner.

I will point out that theoretically it is of no consequence who won. Only that there was a winner.

Now, our elected representative are defying the electorate by not immediately supporting OUR candidate, whom we have made a clear mandate, and their only job is to ralley behind him, and do everything in their power to help him win the General Election.

I don't care if they like him or not. He is a Republican, and we need to win against Hildabeast or Bernie Sanders.

To NOT do this is tantamount to Treason IMO to the goals of the Republican Party.

I am not sure if there is a way to tell all our representatives to "get on the stick", and do their jobs, and represent the will of the people, or they are going to be replaced. I have already written e-mails, and phone called to my representatives.

I for one will be ticked beyond belief if they try to bring in a GOPe favorite in spite of the will of the people.

What say you?

It is an issue for the party members of each State to determine for their State.

Each State is different, representing different peoples in different States.

It isn’t a Federal election. It is an election of candidates by the State delegates to become the National Republican Party nominee for the Office of President.

‘Saint’ understates his position in the gnostic American church. Something closer to ‘Messiah’ is the ticket... John Brown too.

I’ll throw out a canard.

Let’s say in Trump’s thinking and method of negotiating the deal, after all the other Republican nominees quit, Trump begins to basically attack Hillary, but then he takes a Progressive liberal perspective.

The GOP then considers the situation.

They may be free to then nominate somebody entirely different if supported by the delegates at the last moment.

This also would present a tactical defense to the liberal and media bias which has had time to prepare their campaigns to attack any conservative opponent.

It’s a good play to have in our hip pocket to avoid being tricked and cornered.

Yeah I know. Trump sucks. Yadda yadda so on and soooo on. Dam how many Freepers would have voted for Yeb Bush. How much shit did you give those that said they wouldn’t. You are probably like my mother in law and will find a Trump fault under every pebble you encounter. Hell go on and vote for Hillary, one way or the other. I wonder what will feel worse, sucking it up and acting like a man that understands what is at stake and get behind how dam many fellow long time conservative Freepers or wishing you had.

If it weren’t Hillary or a communist I’d say I’m in. The republican establishment now thinks it must think for us. Sounds familiar I think I’ve heard how that one ends. Nope. No sir. I will not vote for her. I remember Benghazi and my neck gets a cold chill every time I read another freeper in one way or another supporting her.

Oh I'm definitely voting for the Republican because that will cause the least suffering! I just mean ... I don't experience disappointment or surprise or disgust. That keeps me a happy warrior for the principles which never change, as opposed to the men or the organizations or the institutions, which pass through life and death, good and bad.

Principles have no cycles and no delusions, men do. So, men can be expected to often behave terribly, against the interests of themselves and others - as if they were really evil - when really - they are just deluded, often willfully. Knowing I'm also subject to delusion, I hope that being awake to fact reduces it as much as possible.

Mankind is a bunch of lunatics. At the very least we can know that about ourselves, so we're on guard - and not be too surprised when our fellow man acts like a band of cult idiots. Most don't even know they are a crazy, so they are never on guard, they always believe their own minds. That's ultimately the source of all misery and suffering. I think ultimately 'not knowing you are a deluded lunatic' is what was meant by Pride being the killer.

Excellent summation. I dare say yours is the most honest and objective I have read yet.

Morgantown, WVA? My sister lives there...a nurse at the college hospital, but I digress.

I believe that Trump has said that he does not want Hillary indicted until he is in the Oval Office, so she cannot get a pardon from Obama, and I think he wants to kick her ass, legit. But, we will see. I don’t think he wants any excuses from Democrats when he beats them at their own game, and should the Hildabeast have a stroke, I don’t think it will matter to him as far as putting her in prison. Again, JMO.

There was no attempt, at least on MY part to piss anyone off, simply to state the obvious, but evidently

That which is obvious, is only obvious, to whom it is obvious.

Grace? I think others on the FR have put it most succinctly, this is a time of transition, and give it awhile to sink in.

The perception they see is their reality, but its a smoke screen to what is really happening.

But as you say, Facts are Facts, but Perception is reality.
Now we are about the business of making Perception and reality the same thing.

Exactly right.

I listened to Rush, and he is trying to be neutral, and explain everything, and bless his heart, he is arguing with a stump, and you know, You can’t argue with a stump.

Levine? He is a screech owl, a self important one, and I find it difficult to listen to him anymore.

Donald Trump said in a debate that he would not support the GOP nominee unless it was him.

I don't recall him saying that.
I do recall him saying he would support the nominee if he was treated fairly by the Republican Party.
Big difference.

Let’s keep those postcards flowing... to Ryan... Every Monday until Ryan and all the others are “ready” to support Trump, or until Ryan makes it clear that he’s flipping the bird to We, The People, and he plans to support Hillary.

It’s not over until Trump is actually the Republican nominee, not just the “presumptive” nominee. Everyone stay focused, and keep voting Trump in the remaining primaries. Keep focused until February 2017.

Postcards to:

Spkr. Paul Ryan
1233 Longworth HOB
Washington, DC 20515

This is what I’m writing on my postcards:

Support Trump2016
- or we vote DEM down-ballot in November!

"Is Levin still in meltdown?"

I listened to Levin for about 10 minutes last night. Still ranting and raving about how Trump is not a conservative.

While I was listening, a (shock) Trump supporter got through. He started down the path of Cruz supporters need to think about what they'll be doing if they sit out this election, or vote for a 3rd party candidate. Levin had just applauded a guy for saying he was "gonna write in Ted Cruz in November". Levin lam-blasted the Trump supporter for calling the guy a "Cruz supporter"

"You have no way of knowing that was a Cruz supporter" Levin said. The Trump supporter replied "He JUST SAID he was writing in Ted Cruz in November." Levin: "Well, that doesn't mean he's a Cruz supporter."

From that moment on, the Trump supporter wasn't allowed to get a word in edgewise. Levin kept talking over the guy, telling him and the audience how he was giving the guy time to make his point, but he wouldn't make his point. The Trump supporter started up, and Levin would rant over him about how "we don't have all day" and for him to get to his point.

At that point, I just turned it off and said, "Yep, Levin hasn't changed his tune."

Check out the video link I posted earlier which shows what he actually said. He said he would need to “respect” the nominee in order to support him. He added the “fair” part only weeks later after he reversed his initial position after intense criticism and agreed to support the GOP nominee but with that caveat. And then later he renigged on his pledge claiming he had not been treated fairly, which makes you wonder if he had planned to do that all along. There are a lot of Republicans who don’t think their candidate was treated fairly by Trump. And there are a lot who don’t respect Trump. Either you’re a Republican or you’re not. If you’re going to run as a Republican then you should agree to accept the outcome of the process and support the nominee. If you don’t then you can hardly complain when others treet you the same way.

Thanks for the information, we all need to be proactive in keeping the pressure on all our representatives to support the will of the electorate.

In this case, we have to support (like it or not) the republican candidate.
