Why are you being a hysterical jackass?

No one cares about that crap you think is such a big deal.

And no one here has any influence over Trump’s pick so it doesn’t effing matter if they like Newt.

Besides, I want to see the Newt-Warren debates, they’ll be epic.

So shaddup.

Wasn't it great?! They deserve it all!!

If we want to be able to speak intelligently about the Donald Trump Presidency, then we need to cease thinking like politicians, and begin to understand that Trump is a businessman, and will think like a business man going forward.

The CEO cannot tolerate wasted positions. But we’ll talk about the VP slot later.

The first thing the CEO will think about is the marketing department. The product must be sold. The products are the policies. The customers are not Congress, but the American people. Trump has already shown this is the way he thinks.

Hopefully the CEO will see that the marketing requires ubiquity and repetition. Yep, the head of the sales department should perform the daily press briefings-Press Secretary.

Remember during the 2012 Republican primaries, especially a particular South Carolina debate, in which one Newt Gingrich barged through the saloon doors and shot more than a few reporters right off their bar stool? How refreshing was it to have a conservative question the premise of inane questions, and turn the tide on liberal press manipulation? It was good for me. Newt’s the best choice to head the Sales Department.-Press Secretary. Everyday. In their face. Conservative brand needs this desperately.

VP slot. Trump cannot let this go to waste. Possible dead expense. Can’t have that. CEO will want a COO. In charge of expense reduction. Hatchet man-yep.Take out the garbage. Must be qualified to succeed CEO. Help negotiate with THE UNION-including resistance in Congress, on both sides of the aisle. Ideal candidate must have the quality as being the one most likely to instill fear in, and irritate the crap out of the established, entrenched political opposition to change. Because the debt. Because “expenses”.

Perfect candidate for the job? Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.

I know, this particular position-COO, requires a first class asshole, and he could help win Ohio, but Kasich cares too much about what people think of him. Scott Walker would relish the thought of, for example, presiding over the phase-out of the Department of Education. The devolution of public lands to the States, negotiating with public employee unions. Cutting waste and possibly other departments.

Yes, he would take the job, once the CEO explained what it entailed.

CEO Donald Trump.

COO Scott Walker

Head of Sales Department and Marketing Newt Gingrich.

America Great Again, Inc., a publicly held corporation.

Yeah!

On that note, we had Herman Cain speak at a fundraiser for our county GOP in June or July of last year, long before Trump really took off. How many candidates were still in the race then? A dozen?

Herman told us to watch Trump, that he was likely going to surprise a lot of people and go far. I wish I had a video of that event.

Wow that’s funny, that’s almost exactly what peoplr started out saying about Trump! He had so much Hillary could use against him, she will use her playboy against Trump and win in a landslide. I’ll keep having fun like Trump and speculate and you can keep looking for this mystical VP person.

Santorum???? give me a break.

He could not even get reelected in Pennsylvania..he bent over for Alelen Specter, the turn coat.

He is a total Professional Politician, always running for POTUS and he will run again in 2020 if Hillary is selected.

Time for Santorum to find a full time job and take care of his family.

He very well maybe. Frankly, I'm suspicious of anyone in office since 1981!

I hope you know by now that you're mixing up Duncan Hunter with Duncan D. Hunter, the son.

He’s a good guy, I’ve seen him on a few occasions in person, at least three with close face-face interaction. I contributed big (for me) in 2012.

I have always like Newt, but he would be a bad choice now for a number of reasons. Likewise, it appears that Rudy G. is trying to weaken Trump’s immigration stance. Too much “help” from these guys could ruin what has been a phenomenal run.

You post: “I don’t know anything about him other than he’s 39, has a business degree and has actually held a job other then politician, quit it on 9/12/2001 and joined the Marines and rose to the rank of Major. And he’s served in Congress for six years, thus meeting Trump’s criteria. Sounds like a solid choice to me.”

I agree - great resume - certainly not beholden to Middle Easterners, not big tobacco (watch YouTube link that follows this first one re ‘vaping.” - and definitely would have our Troops/Vets backs. May be perfect to next election for Pres.?

I’m thinking we should blitz Trump with “YES. DUNCAN” (He’s obviously floated Duncan’s name for a test run. Let’s make our voices be heard.)

Side attributes: Attractive, great voice, from big Calif...would add much more appeal to voters than ANYone the dems could dig up.

Trump isn’t into the actual work of day to day running things as just selling/lending his name to projects and letting others do the nitty gritty. Just maybe, if he puts the right people in the right spots - Not career GOPe’s - it just may work. (Ex: he’s floating Rudy Giuliani for Homeland Security. We know HE won’t kow-tow to the muzzies!)
