As I was closing the thread his head caught my eye. Is that a hairpiece?
I like this a lot!! Great response Bratch!
Because Republican presidents only nominate Conservatives?
Off the top of my head, here are 10 Liberals and RINOs nominated by Republicans in the last 60 years:
Eisenhower: Earl Warren and William Brennan
Nixon: Warren Burger and Harry Blackmun
Ford: John Paul Stevens
Reagan: Sandra Day O'Connor and Anthony Kennedy
Bush (Father): David Souter
Bush (Son): John Roberts, and tried to nominate RINO Harriet Miers, but was stopped by a Free Republic insurrection
I lost all respect for Will when he opposed the Clinton impeachment.
And he isn't wrong that the GOP today is no longer representing the voters... but apparently he feels this way for the exact opposite reasons as most of us limited-government folks.
Sorry to say Mr. Will but you didn’t leave the Republican Party, they left you and left you standing bare with a bunch of other Wall Street people.
Usually people who like baseball have more sense than this.
YAY!!!!!
TAKE ROMNEY WITH YOU....PLEASE!
Good. A closet LIB with a thesaurus doesn’t make a good columnist. The guy is a pathetic joke.
Thank you for posting the full text of your article.
George Will is a God fearing conservative when pigs fly.
Okay, I knew he was but I have not given a hoot about what he has had to say in 30 years. His pretentious manner grows old quickly.
And, we care about this...why?
If you are asking why anyone cares about the content of the original post,
then you might want to address your question to the author of that post.
If you are asking why you should care about why I posted a "thank you"
then I can't help you. I'll thank whomever I please, thank you.
To the extent that the Supreme Court was at all conservative prior to Scalia's death, do you credit Democrats or Republicans?
To put it another way, what are the odds of a Republican President appointing a conservative? And what are the odds of a Democrat President appointing a conservative? I would answer the latter question with, "ZERO".
Like it or not, the best we can do is to suffer whoever President Trump appoints to the Court. There is absolutely no way whatever that we would do better with Hillary Clinton doing the choosing.
One of the great things about the Trumpster is that he is uncovering the moles within the republcan party who have been double agents for the left. The more wills he exposes the better. Adios leftist, we hardly knew thee.
