Looking at the man who asked this question, I won't say he was a plant to throw the presumptive GOP nominee off track, but I will say there are some American voters who do not want to defend Israel anymore, but that won't be the policy of Donald Trump.
This elderly gentleman was able to mention two issues to Trump before he sat down. One of them was about the sanctity of life and which Trump agreed to. The second one is where the man said the following:

Do you think Trump nailed this answer? The media will most definitely try to make something out of it but in our opinion, he did the right thing and gave the right answer.

To the elderly questioner, the only country that we have gone to war to protect in the Middle East for the last 25 years is Saudi Arabia, not Israel.
Listening to the comments back and forth between Trump and this man on two different issues, I can see how the left will try to use ‘selective editing” of this video to make it appear that Trump is agreeing with him about Israel.

I think Obama does hate Israel. The $40B in military aid won’t do any good if Iran gets a nuke. Plus its no skin off Obama’s nose — it’s not his $$. To me, its an empty, cynical gesture.

Yes, he does hate Israel. First, that wasn’t his idea to give them 40 billion in military aid over 10 years. He couldn’t have stopped it and he knows it.
Second, since 9/11 we have given the Afghan government about 81 billion in direct financial aid. That’s not the cost of the war, that just the direct aid. Add up the aid we give to the enemies of Israel that surround them and you’ll see we provide over triple the amount we give Israel to their sworn enemies.
Pakistan, Egypt, Libya, Syrian rebels, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Afghanistan, etc.
So we are barely giving them the ability to fend off the huge array of forces we create to stand against them. Yeah, the sparrow farted and we gave them something.. but it isn’t a show that Obama supports Israel.
If the old gent cared about life, he would want Israel supported. There was a 13 year old, beautiful, young girl slaughtered in her bed recently. Is that not a life? Helping Israel protect itself against the blood-thirsty, crazed “Palestinians” IS protecting life.
