None should hold their breath waiting for President Barack Hussein Obama to impose martial law as a means of suspending upcoming presidential elections—at least not yet.
If Obama does impose martial law it will be a sure sign that Donald Trump has a good chance of winning the presidency. Until then, Obama’s holding martial law as his ace in the hole.
ANY President of any party, any color or creed who were to try this would not survive the night.

There is no mechanism to prevent 50 state elections. The feds aren’t in charge of elections (yet), and we have the precedents of the War of 1812 and the Civil War.
If Obama et al want to cancel/postpone elections in strife-torn black neighborhoods, that won’t affect elections outside of those areas.

Your statement is correct if he is stupid enough to do it nationwide. It will go city by city. He will first do it in states where he has the support of the state government (dwindling by the day, yes) and when enough states are involved, he will do it for the rest of the nation.
I consider this a slim possibility but he wouldn't survive a sweeping declaration of martial law on a national scale.
I think its very misleading. When I lived in the S most of my neighbors were dems. All of them had guns galore. In fact they made a big deal about ‘out of my cold dead hands’. Yet, they voted dem quite reliably. Their position on guns and voting record didnt make sense. I asked about that and never got a satifactory answer. So, despite the stats I think ground level might be very different.

I served 22 years. I sill hang out at the NCO club. Even visit the O Club from time to time as a guest of my old officer buddies... I can tell you, Obama is HATED by almost everyone. I even ask what they would do if he ordered martial law. One of the pilots already had a bomb run flight plan to the White House (J/K)...

More cop deaths a la Dallas. Police Unions respond by turning a blind eye when BLM protests are no longer responded to by local LEOs.
Riots ensue when the animals pillage and burn a la Ferguson. National Guard troops are deployed. If this happens in multiple large metropolitan areas at the same time (Yes, Soros has the money and assets to coordinate this) then Obozo steps in and voila!
