I'm curious how they plan to do that. Will they have at least one armed police officer at every service? That would take a minimum of 47,000 officers.

Not bloody likely. More likely is that cops in squad cars will go cruising past various churches. The preventative value of that is of course essentially zero.

I have counseled many Churches on this. I advise them to have strong a security force . I am not talking about an “off duty” officer. I am talking about military trained members in a militia that trains and is heavily armed with legal semi auto ,223 and .308 . I am serious as a heart attack. They need front, back and door security NOW!! If they don’t have that — STAT HOME!!
