Due to the opprobrium and shame subsumed in the name Washington Redskins, the team will be henceforth known as the Langley Redskins.
If you took a picture of ESPN around 2000 and today....it’s just not the same network, and in some ways....it’s actually more of a collection of political reporters trying to talk sports, than sports reporters talking sports. I don’t see them surviving like this, and likely to be bought out and modified again.
ESPN has political prized sports. I’ve for the most part quit watching them in 2002.
When I occasionally still watch a NFL game, then I’ll turn to the NFL channel. They have better coverage, and they are not trying to politicalize the sport like ESPN.
ESPN is okay for college football, and that’s about it.

Team logos are almost invariably symbols intended to represent strength, integrity, etc...
The term "redskins" is not racist per se, any more than "pale face"; both are simply practical descriptive terms that identify people by their skin color. "Redskins" and "Pale Faces" is simply a slightly more slang way of sayign "Indians" and "Whites", "Native Americans" and "Caucasians", and so on...
In any event, vote Trump!
