I started the 2016 Pick’em fantasy football team.

FREEPER_PICKEM_FOOTBALL

Group 476

Been going on for about a dozen years.

The Pick’em league is simple - just tell us each week who will win, and assign a point value to the win.

FReepmail me if you want to join, and I'll send you the password.

Fairly quick and simple premise, costing no currency except time. No draft, just pick the winners.

This is one of a couple Fantasy Football leagues started by FReepers.

Bender2 has a traditional fantasy football league. Last link I found was here:

I have also seen NASCAR fantasy and baseball fantasy leagues.

Bender2, can you post the latest thread for your fantasy league? I think the draft is coming soon.

one I can pick right now...

Buffalo Bills will end the season 4-12, maybe 5-11.

Buffalo is like Notre Dame. Never pick them.

For Buffalo, they never cover the spread if the are the pick, and do cover the spread if the are the underdog.

Notre Dame....ever pick them. Nearly every alumnus bets on them to win and it distorts the line and they won’t cover the spread even if they do win.

The Bills had a great four year run, but that was ~25 years ago.

Without a great QB it is really hard to win in this league.

While I do not think that the NFL is as manipulated as the NBA (talk about the grand champ of all RICO cases), we have all seen enough to understand that there is some serious money behind the league.

And wherever you have serious money you get some serious people lurking in the shadows.

Just sayin’.

I pick my beloved Cleveland Browns to go all the way....

...to a number one draft pick.

You'll have to fight off my beloved Lions.

After watching the Panthers-NE game last night I think I can safely predict the Panthers will NOT repeat.
Until the 3rd string QB came in with a few minutes left in the 4th quarter they had scored 3 points.
He engineered 2 TD’s.

Cam Newton threw 3 int. Every pass was way too high.
Anderson pretty accurate, receivers dropped pass after pass.
Joe Brown did well.

Brady played a little for NE. He ate them up.
