Not happening to me (Safari 10/MacOS)...try going to “My Preferences” and changing the “number of threads/comments per page”...mine is currently set to “100”. Might make a difference.
There is no ‘better,’ it’s just personal preference. When I use SLAVE, every article I click on in the main tab opens up in the same slave tab. When I click on a new article, the slave tab changes to that thread.
I doubt it will change your issue with “next page” though.
Me neither after I removed this malware device.
I’m curios now - I’ve been here since ‘98, but my earliest post is from 11/12/2001.
Is anyone else able to see posts older than that?

I find it only happens when I have questions about if they are Possibly newbies. Never had it happen on regulars. So I just figured it was exposing Them.
The “funny” one I’m trying to check has a signup date of 2000 and I never remember seeing his name before. First page of his comments goes to 2005.
Can’t get to second page.
LOL.....
Good one.
I see. I kind of like the way I’m used to, being set in my ways. :-) And doubt it would change not being able to see past the first page of comments. This is frustrating. Some peoples’ next pages of comments I can see, some not.
Maybe a hammer?
If I remember correctly FR had a major problem somewhere back about that time. I believe
they had to redesign the system or something like that and thus lost all the earlier
history. I maybe wrong but I believe there was some problem back then.
Is there a fast way to see one’s oldest comments? I can’t stand to just keep clicking “next page” a gazillion times.
Try this link. If you don’t get any replies, try incrementing the value by 50K or 100K until you get something.

Now that you mention it, I remember “something”.
How the years have flown by...
Thanks.

We don’t like people a snoopin’ round here ...
Actually, after playing with the numbers a little more I found that you may want to start higher (you’ll just have to play with the number yourself):

I use a cloaking device I downloaded from Klingon.com to erase my history.
I see nothing..... but what do you mean by “try incrementing the value by 50K or 100K until you get something.”
I am not a complete idiot, as there are still some parts missing.
So the number means number of comments?
