Why this Jewish millennial woman supports Trump
The Washington Examiner ^ | October 13, 2016 | Lena Epstein

I'm Jewish. I'm a woman. I'm a millennial. And I'm incredibly proud to be a Republican supporting Donald Trump for president.

For many of us around the country, the media culture has made coming out as a Trump supporter feel as nerve-wrenching as introducing yourself at a support group meeting, as if we have a problem instead of an opportunity.

Rather than focusing on what should matter in an election — the economy, borders and education — there has been too much focus on Trump's less than eloquent soundbites. Clearly, he's not the most "politically correct" person in the room. But I have supported Trump from the very beginning because, without question, I believe he is the best person for the job.

Donald Trump is the best person for our economy, to protect our borders, to improve our education system and to protect our children and our collective future.

Most importantly, he's the best person for action. That's the key: action. People seem to forget that. There's plenty of talk about everything except action.

Didn't our parents all teach us that actions speak louder than words?

As co-owner of a business, I see my share of resumes. When I look at a resume, it's not titles in previous positions that stand out to me. Rather, it's the substance of the accomplishments achieved under those titles that stand out.

If our country has learned one thing over the last eight years, it's that a successful resume for president must go deeper than a list of titles — the former senator and community organizer had little experience in the art of action.

Supporters of Trump's opponent tout her former roles as if the titles alone represent action and qualify her for the presidency: first lady, senator and secretary of state. As a people, we should not insult the presidency by making titles alone the prerequisite.

At one point in the first debate, Hillary Clinton alleged that Trump's father gave him a $14 million loan. It was offered as a way to discount Trump's business success.

Although Trump says that amount is inaccurate, let's assume for a moment she's correct.

Choosing to use that loan as a negative, Clinton only painted half the picture. She failed to point out that, even with a conservative estimate of Trump's net worth — let's say $4.5 billion — it would mean a 32,143 percent return on that initial investment.

That level of success comes from action. It comes from being infected with the success gene, from never stopping at any obstacle, from never quitting.

It comes from the type of action the United States needs to get our economy back on track, to get our roads paved, to get our schools fixed and our borders safe.

In the words of Trump's father, Fred Trump, "some of my best deals were made by my son, Donald. Everything he touches seems to turn to gold."

In the last eight years, America has lost sight of its gold standard. We need Trump's love for the U.S., his passion for success and his golden touch.

“...Who cares?...”

We should all care and be pleased that she shares her story because liberal (cultural/often secular) Jewish folks, millennials in particular, can be extremely hard to persuade to get on the Trump Train.

Of course once they’re on board they love it!

Welcome aboard the train!

One of 5 co-chairs, another one is Terry Bowman of Union Conservatives. As I have been told, these co-chairs are to reach out to specific voting groups. I hear good things about Lena, I have not had the pleasure to meet her yet....

Lena Epstein

The Trump-Pence campaign has added Bloomfield Hills native Lena Epstein as a co-chair for the Trump Michigan Campaign.

Epstein, 35, is a longtime Republican activist, including roles ranging from precinct delegate and fundraiser to chairing the Oakland County Lincoln Day Dinner and serving as a TV and radio political pundit. She is also a third-generation co-owner and general manager of Southfield-based Vesco Oil Corporation, a family-owned distributor of automotive and industrial lubricants and supporting services. Vesco Oil is a certified Women Business Enterprise (WBE) and has more than 200 employees and revenue exceeding $175 million.

“I was in the Trump camp from the very beginning because he represents a change from the status quo; an outsider with real business experience and success who is frank and honest with the American people,” said Epstein. “I am excited to recruit fellow millenials, the Jewish community and the women of Michigan to demonstrate that their futures and economic prosperity lie with Trump and the GOP.”

Epstein also serves on numerous community boards including the Detroit Regional Chamber, the Detroit Historical Society, Temple Beth El of Bloomfield Township, the Jewish Community Center, the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan, Kadima and the Detroit Jewish News Foundation.

She also was appointed by Gov. Rick Snyder to the Michigan Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board. Epstein has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.

“This is an incredibly exciting time to be an American,” she said, “and I invite all members of our Jewish community to actively engage in this presidential debate.”

I still cannot believe dumbed down Americans put the Marxist/Muslim in our White House not once but TWICE!

SURREAL.

And if we don't all work extra hard for Donald, we'll have a third term of Obama (courtesy of crooked Hillary) to complete our destruction! (Remember she's vowed to increase "refugees" by 500%!!!)

Remember the corrupt politicians, stupid feminists, Lib retards and the gibsmedats are out there and won't give up the presidency without a dirty fight and voter fraud.

We MUST make this the biggest Republican voter turnout in history, and do all we can to prevent voter fraud!

Yes. Me too. Even Jews who are still registered Dems can be convinced to "leave the plantation" along with others the dems have taken for granted for so long. I found this out when I was in the Young Republicans chapter in Rockland Cty, NY. When Pres Reagan first ran, he had won over not only the traditionally more conservative Orthodox Jews, but a large number of Reform as well. Obviously, Trump is no Reagan, but his message resonates with people from all walks of life. The night before the 1980 election I was tearing up the streets in my 1968 Dodge Charger loaded with Reagan posters, some with his name printed in Hebrew to place in Monsey and New Square, should've kept a couple of those, they'd be good collectibles now. Good times!
