I'd say yours is a fair summary of it. I also watched (most of it) and while Danny is as inarticulate, awkward and unsophisticated as one could be, there was a serious air of sincerity about him that came through strongly. In the end, he only wants to know what is intrinsically embedded in all of us... a relationship with one's father and in his case, the father he never knew. Pray that Danny finds the only relationship that really counts.....with his heavenly Father.... because we know one thing for sure, his earthly father sure isn't worth spit.
