Thanks. I believe you are correct. The single trigger pull held, and the slamming home of the slide nudges the trigger into the held finger to shoot another round. But, I think you’d agree, this one has been (dangerously) modified.
My brother-in-law is a cop and he has competed at Camp Perry several times. Watching him shoot this quick and accurate is scary. He’s fast and he is accurate, even with a revolver.
Love to see him to it without having the pistol wimpified down to 9mm.
I got suckered into buying a Taurus 1911 long time ago. I should’ve invested at least in a Rock Island Armory 1911.
