Kamala Harris - risk averse? She is over-the-top in a way that most of the rest of the “reliables” that now make up the Democrat caucus never could be, the fire of Bernie Sanders coupled with relative youth, and with the added double token of black AND female.
Hillary Clinton with energy. And with much less visible baggage.
Barack Obama had a more awkward launch.

Her ticket will need somebody old and steady, like Biden, for balance. My suggestion is Loretta Lynch.
It’s been clear that Obama is pulling strings and the media has appointed Harris to be the First Black Woman President. They will try to shove her down our throats and it’s going to be nauseating.
I thought that about Obama and argued relentlessly in 2006 and 2007 that the country would never elect a Marxist enabler nationally. She’s a real threat at some point in the future. Much more than Fauxcahontas. She brings in the crazy left and the identity politics.
The only real difference between her anencephaly Obama is he had no history to run against. He was a blank slate that could be shaped. She did some crazy stuff as attorney general that would not sit well if explained correctly to middle America.

Nope!! That “HOPE” comment was nasty and if you have ever been mugged oughta make you super mad.
She sure didn’t like being reprimanded by the chairman in the earlier hearing. She was so disrespectful to Coats and the Admiral. She had to have the last word when the chairman cut off the questioning - “Was that a yes or a no?” Such juvenile behavior.
In yesterday’s hearing, I saw that she arrived at the table after everyone else, sat down for a second, put her purse or whatever on the table and got up and left. Any time the camera was on that end of the room the rest of the hearing, she wasn’t in her seat. I think she appeared to get her questioning in and disappeared again.

Her story starts with Terence Hallinan, who became the first defense attorney to become the District Attorney for the city of San Francisco. Hallinan immediately fired all the city prosecuting attorneys and began to move the DA's office from prosecuting criminals to going soft on defendants, eventually dropping to the lowest conviction rate of any city in the state.
Meanwhile, over in Oakland, Harris was the Deputy District Attorney. She was wooed by Hallinan's office to become the Managing Attorney in San Francisco. Harris eventually beat a scandal-ridden Hallinan to become the DA of San Francisco. Shortly after winning, a police officer in San Francisco was killed in the line of duty, and Harris announced that she would not be seeking the death penalty against the killer, refusing again after being implored by Dianne Feinstein from the pulpit of the officer's funeral.
In San Francisco, Harris restored some of the fallen conviction rate, but was still soft on felony convictions that required long jail time, often pleading to lesser charges. Also, she began a "hate crimes" unit in San Francisco that focused on crimes against gays.
Harris eventually ran for and won the Attorney General of California, and later won retiring Barbara Boxer's seat in the Senate.

There will be a lot more white working class Democrats abandoning their party to vote for Trump. The Dems are losing that vote so it’s not impossible to think they’ll have a non-white presidential ticket in 2020 with Harris and maybe one of the Castro brothers. Their political strategy is pretty simple. Win the black and Hispanic vote overwhelmingly and get enough of the white vote to eke out a victory.
That’s just what this country needs — a negro Nancy Pelosi

At the end of the day, it really doesn’t really matter anymore..our beloved Republic is in it’s death throes. After Trump, whether 4 or 8 years, the next president will be a psycho like Harris, who will lead us into the abyss...
