Given the ever-increasing hate speech and violence being promoted by the liberal media, it's time for the FCC to re-evaluate which media outlets receive broadcast rights and which ones should be revoked. A terrorist organization like Hamas would not be granted an FCC license so why should MSNBC? Homeland security should also create a "Liberal Violence Watch" committee to monitor the liberal media.
Excellent idea. Direct or indirect fostering of violence against another or a group is not protected speech.
Correct me if I am wrong, but the FCC has no control over what is broadcast over cable.

These media hate-mongers have blood on their hands. They will become legitimate targets if they succeed in their mission to foment civil war.

You ever read FR 2009-2017? How long do you think that would last? There were some really inflammatory things posted (often deleted) that crossed many lines. Should FR be silenced?

A slippery slope for sure, but civility standards are on the books and should be enforced rather than totally ignored.
Law suits for slander should resume and high profiled individuals should NOT be exempt.

That’s my understanding as well. As MSNBC is a cable/satellite only channel, not broadcast over the airwaves, I don’t think the FCC can regulate them in any way.
Personally I would like to see the FCC put out of business. Slippery slope to give it that power. What has gone wrong is this implied immunity the press seems to have for promoting hate and releasing classified material. The media (official one that is) shouldn’t have special rights/immunities that we the citizen do not have.
Yet this network of malcontents has double the rating of CNN. I hate CNN but at least it is actual news some of the time.
