On average a total eclipse of the sun happens every 18 months somewhere on earth. At any particular spot on earth it is of course rarer. If the orbits of the moon around the earth and the earth around the sun were on the same plane we would have one every 27 days or so but we don’t since the orbits ate tilted around 5 degrees from each other.
There’s plenty of Prophecy concerning the tumultuous time that will occur. And events that will happen after the occurrence. B Matthew 13 it clear that when the occurrence transpires is known only to the Father. The prophecy is in how the events unfold in this particular case, but foes not reveal the exact day or the hour in which it will start to unfold.

There is an average of 2.4 Solar eclipses every year. As well as 2 to 4 Lunar eclipses.
Amen. If a lunar eclipse happened, and it wasn’t explained by the regular rotations of celestial bodies, then we might want to know if there was a message in it. This could have been predicted before there were prophets in the Bible.

“Read Genesis... God created the stars to be signs.”
Read Matthew 12:39 to see what Jesus said about your “signs”.
The Rapture will most likely occur on the Feast of Trumpets, a 2 day event. Therefore know one will know the day (which day), or the hour. What you are actually saying is that even if a sign appears in the heavens that seems to miraculously align with Revelation prophecy, it should be ignored. Just to be clear, I’m not a prophecy nut, but I did take two years of astronomy in college. It’s a big sky, and even so conjunctions occur. I watch them all. I am a zealous stargazer. This isn’t just an usual conjunction, it is a rabbit hole of extraordinary coincidences that add up to hard to explain away.
“This is not astrology, it is a series of astronomical events that appear to be predicted in the Book of Revelation.”
As soon as you start assigning meaning to astronomical events and try to use it to predict the future, it’s astrology.
Show me where Jesus said ignore prophecy. Show me your copy of the New Testament without the Book of Revelation. Show me your copy of the Old Testamenf with all prophetic scripture removed (one third).
Wrong. Astrology is pagan use of the heavens for personal revelation. Why not read what God actually said about the stars when he created them? I’ll wait...
Warning: Boogieman is a trolling atheist.
Liar.
“Astrology is pagan use of the heavens for personal revelation.”
False. Why don’t you crack open a dictionary and read the actual definition? The word “pagan” doesn’t appear. Just because you’re a Christian doesn’t mean you can’t engage in astrology, and it doesn’t make it any more sensible either.
“Why not read what God actually said about the stars when he created them?”
He said he created them for signs for SEASONS and DAYS and YEARS, in others words, for us to tell time by, not to try to predict the future.
“Show me where Jesus said ignore prophecy.”
Never said he did. Now, show me where Jesus said it’s no longer sinful to engage in astrology and divination.
Read Genesis chapter 1, verse 14. God created the stars to mark the sacred days, and for signs.
Thanks for playing.
Show me where Jesus told us to figure out prophetic dates before the events happen.
Was the star of Bethlehem astrology? Or evil?
