A few months back there was a story about OAN offering Bill a show. I suggested HERE that he could probably purchase OAN instead. I guess that it’s cheaper to start your own network.
Forget the "streaming" and "pod casts" stuff...it ain't gonna work.
Folks like me are stretched out on the couch or recliner at night, and want to click right on to him from there like we do to the Fox News and/or the Fox Business channels.

Frankly, missing BOR. He was FOX and w/o him the network lacks their ‘edge’ JJ and depending on his guest, Sean Hannity, are two that keep us coming back from time to time.
To see Bill succeed is something everyone of us should hope for. Ornery old cuss who at times misplaced facts, his staff was a darn good group at digging real dirt when pushed.

I agree, trying to re-launch or draw in new viewers while making them pay a fee is gong to be difficult.
There are so many voices out there trying to find a niche, that it seems like they could all (or many) get together at one site or network.
Not any sort of BOR fan (or non-fan, I don’t own a TV) but he and others would do well to at least try to do the Mark Levin model.
This is a guy who made multi-millions a year for 20 years. With today’s gear he can set up a home studio for well under $100K, hire a two people for $100K a year; for $250K absolute tops he can set up a home “network” studio and try to get it going for a couple of years for blazingly under $1 MM all in, and if it works-—it works, and if it doesn’t, it doesn’t. It’s not a big money/big risk proposition for him as I see it.
Grammar police can take a hike with that kind of vulgar, classless insults. That tasteless slur sounds like something a liberal would say.

Seriously....it’s times like these I may stop my monthly donations to FR and just hang out with my twitter friends. Who needs grammar cops here? Geesssh
knock it off you mean POS
I thought he was way too easy on Mister Obama. (And too predictable.)
There were many, many times when I wanted to hear O'Reilly's guests' comments, when he interrupted.
All that said...
The words of the day for O'Reilly...
GOOD LUCK AND MUCH SUCCESS!
...........with really no plan to do it, I am exclusively FR, OAN and utube these days. I have not even turned on my TV since Last November 8
So, I think Letterman nailed it.
I soon found myself not poking at him on this board as I was wont to do....in fact, to me his show had evolved into a hour that was interesting, informative and full of positions of his that I was in total agreement with. I always looked forward to his program.
His long-time friendship with President Trump, I think, also played a substantial part in his political persona.
But then came the "ka-boom" and he was gone....poof !
Now I join many others in hoping for his swift return as a host and commentator on his own network....and that he schedules any new nightly program during the same hour that the abysmal "The Five" is on over at Fox, heh, heh....

He needs to work out a deal with someone — OANN, Sinclair, The Blaze, Newsmax, someone.
If there were any brains at CNN or MSNBC, they’d hire him. He can get better numbers in his sleep than those guys are getting.
These days many tv’s have smart tv / Roku capability right out of the box. Watching a streaming channel is no more difficult than pressing the input selector on your remote. No need to get up off the couch. Same for older sets retrofitted with Roku / AppleTV etc. Streaming is the future of all TV.
I don’t think he would work for CNN or MSNBC. Maybe I’m wrong. He might have a price but would they pay it? It’s not like he needs the money and his books still bring in serious money. No one can dispute his business savvy.
I’ve heard him talking about partnering up with someone or some company but he was vague on the details like he doesn’t want to let the cat out of the bag. I didn’t even know he was building this fancy studio until today. I thought he was talking about his home studio which kinda looks like his home office. It’s even possible he had this studio built at his house with supporting offices and all.
He has kept a good working relationship with Glen Beck who most of us have mixed thoughts about. He still partners with Dennis Miller on stage but the last time I heard Miller on the podcast he said he was done with the politics. It had just gotten too nasty and he felt he was at the age and time of his life to start keeping it light and do things with his family. He’s right about the nastiness for sure and Miller is basically a politically savvy comedian with emphasis on comedian.
Totally agree! Very proud for him!
I became (over time) so frustrated I no longer watched his show, eventually stopped even recording it. He sometimes had such fabulous and formidable guests with laser rich knowledge and they simply were made incoherent with his constant interruptions and cutting their train pattern off with his noisy rabbit trail diversions. Right when I was waiting for the guest’s final point! Dropped him happily on his head. Never watched again, but for the couple of Trump appearances.
But, I love a fighting come back kid! Good for O’Really!
He should hook up with Sinclair Broadcasting and do a daily show.
Good riddance to BOR. Sick of him always lecturing me on how deporting the illegals who have been invading America for 30 years “just isn’t going to happen”. What the hell is it with U.S. millionaires who have to always have a hard-on for the dregs of South America and Mexico? Go ahead and flame.
Opinions vary and I’ve already said I didn’t like/agree with him all the time. You hit on one of those times.
People who live removed from regular neighborhoods never seem to get the whole illegal immigration issue and how it affects us on a day to day basis.
Even too much legal immigration can have a serious negative affect sometimes. Reagan’s biggest mistake was giving amnesty to the illegals here at the time. It made them think another President later on would do the same thing. Now CA is over run and ruined. It’s happening in Southern AZ and Texas too. Bad.
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
Hmmm...after reading your bio page I believe there’s some jealousy happening here but I could be wrong. Hehehehe...
O’Reilly seems to be one of those people who are liked or disliked without a lot in between. I guess that’s what happens someone puts themselves out there in the public eye.
To a far lesser extent it’s what we do here when we post or start a thread; particularly one that one knows will be controversial.
I know a local radio announcer here. Good guy, friendly, cordial, but when he gets to drinking; watch out for heavy rolls.
