TOURNAMENT OF CHART-TOPPERS 1970S PING LIST
(This is a temporary ping list, so don’t worry!)

OK, we’re down to the end of this round, music lovers!

I have a conundrum, though.

Anyone who has not yet picked/voted, please consider doing so this afternoon. I have a few very tight races, including a tie right now. I won’t say which but I will say all the close ones are on the last half.

If you’ve already voted, don’t bother, unless you skipped some and I’ll let you know if it would help for you to add them.

If someone does not break (or make) these ties, I’ll have to have a quickie run-off, basically just Monday.

You’re wrong on this one:
3 1973 “Killing Me Softly with His Song” Roberta Flack
5 1973 “My Love” (Woe Woe Woe Woe, really?)Okay I’ll settle, but for the record I’m tipping the hat to “Maybe I’m Amazed” 1970 Paul McCartney

Killing me Softly was and still is one of the most beautiful songs of that era. 50 extra points if you know who it was written about. No Googling.
