The truck was moving. A pic of Amtrak P42 #145 shows that only half of the front of the Loco hit the truck.

Assuming facts not in evidence, it would be next to impossible to seal off that large of a corridor for a train going at high speed. It would take a thousand man detail, also there are no reports of a second truck or helo.

It is odd the accident involved much of the leadership of the Republican party. This may be a nefarious plot or just an accident most strange.
Once we know who in the hell was in the truck we will know the answers. It is my hope this was just an accident. If it were not such, all hell is going to break lose and the rule of law will become the rule of the gun. This is something I do not wish.

If it's true, then how did this truck get on the tracks? If it's false, then why is somebody lying about the roads being "closed for security reasons"?
The whole question of whether this was deliberate or not hangs on the answer to such questions.

One would have to know the route of that truck every day. How many times did it cross the tracks? Was the crossing marked or gated?
There are so many variables that you just need to toss out a few and the “facts” enforce the theory.
Q needs to step up his/her/its/zee/zer game.
