I keep hearing everything Trump does, compared to any and all past Presidents. They don’t know the man Trump yet.. He’s his own man and what he does is what he does! He is a success in business.. more than the rest of his opponents have been.. and whose to say what Trump is doing as President has to be anything like what they think is “normal”. If he’s confirmed, we hope that Mr. Pompeo will turn over a new leaf and will start toughening up our policies towards Russia and Putin. The 80's want their Russian policy back. Give it a rest. I vaguely recall that Tillerson said he expected to stay only a year, anyway. He hadn’t wanted the job, he has other things to do, but he felt he could be a positive. And I think he has been.

He was bailing on the project before yesterday, I think, but what probably made this so abrupt was not him, but his subordinate’s leaking. That’s become a big no-no, and retribution is pretty swift.

Tillerson’s State Department didn’t have a stellar record when it came to cooperating with Congressional investigations or with Watchdog organizations like Judicial Watch. Hopefully Pompeo’s State Department will be more cooperative.

True story. This is largely due to the fact that Tillerson, after an initial flurry of activity in which he cleared about 2 dozen high-level careerists out of the DC headquarters, just lost focus on identifying and getting rid of Obama holdovers.
