Domino number one...................
Is Sessions still on the payroll?
Rip Van Sessions needs to wake up first.
Sessions will appoint a Blue Ribbon Panel to give a recommendation
on the possibility of maybe at some time in the future, prosecute McCabe
if the stars are all aligned and Sessions does not have a bad case of
heartburn.
Plus the jury pool in DC is probably 90% Rat. 10% Republican.
Good luck with a conviction in DC.
There is no reason to suspect that AG Sessions has ever needed any “cover”. What he has needed is evidence, and the IG’s report will provide that, in spades. The next step will be indictment.
So far he hasn't recused himself from cashing the checks. Just doing any work for them.
Sure. If you ignore Sessions' recusal under oath, at his confirmation hearing, on all things connected to Clinton and the campaign.
Trump put huge pressure on McCabe April 6th
Deripaska, Rusal sanctions bullish for US ali

LONDON The United States has sanctioned and frozen the assets of Oleg Deripaska and UC Rusalthat are subject to US jurisdiction, prompting bullish sentiment and expectations of tightness in the US aluminium market, industry participants told Metal Bulletin.
“All assets subject to US jurisdiction of the designated individuals and entities, and of any other entities blocked by operation of law as a result of their ownership by a sanctioned party, are frozen, and US persons are generally prohibited from dealings with them. Additionally, non-US persons could face sanctions for knowingly facilitating significant transactions for or on behalf of the individuals or entities blocked today,” the US Department of the Treasury said on Friday April 6.
Rusal, one of the world’s largest aluminium producers, responsible for 7% of global aluminium production, was designated an oligarch-owned company by the Treasury Department on Friday. The Treasury designated Rusal stakeholder Viktor Vekselberg as an oligarch as well.
Next step will be the Grand Jury. THEN the indictment.
This is all playing out real well entirely according to law...unlike the accused (and the entirety of both Obama completely lawless administrations). This whole tedious process re-establishes the rule of law and makes it very hard for Dems to cry “foul” (but you know they will anyway). The painstakingly gathered evidence in the first IG report together with the Grand Jury returning themi dictmemt is the cornerstone of this prosecution. I just pray that an honest GJ is empaneled.
A more fitting title title for this back-handed Sessions hit peice:
“Sessions Finally May Have To Stop Beating His Wife”
The first deep state domino to fall, hopefully not the last.
I am not from Alabama, but as I look over his entire career, I see a shrewd conservative and process-oriented legislator that plays the long-game better than anyone. There is nothing in his history that says otherwise. Did he all of a sudden change?
Up till now, he has played it perfectly, knowing that if everything wasn't above board in what will be a historical politically-charged prosecution, he needed to be above the fray and work on his timeline. Even with the angst of POTUS.
He knew he needed to get everyone in the kill zone.
I would not be surprised if he has several state AGs with standing, ready to file charges so that a future presidential pardon would be out of play.
Sessions does not want to go after former officials. He is worried he will set a precedent and when the next democrat president has control, that AG will go after (Sessions) for his “lie” to the Senate in his confirmation hearing.
Had you actually read the piece, you would know I’m very much pro-Sessions.
Sessions had plenty of evidence on Clapper. Clapper was considerate enough to commit wholesale perjury on camera. Sessions let the statute of limitations run out anyway. Clapper—unlike Flynn and the others—isn’t a Trump supporter, so he skates.
Many people view life as a pop machine.
They want to punch a button and get their soda.
“Next step will be the Grand Jury. THEN the indictment.”
There may be a fly in the ointment.
The final step will be trial before a Washington, DC jury. McCabe will be found “not guilty.”
Sessions has been a bad actor in matters associated with this:
