380 is just not much gun...get a 38
Too bad the 5.7 isnt made small yet
The LCR is a very nice revolver with a good, light DA pull. I haven’t heard of the issue of the rimfire brass deforming and making cylinder opening difficult. Interesting.
Old school here also, Sig P230 in .380. The gun James Bond should have carried.
“The gun James Bond should have carried. “
Aye, it is.
Single stack. Operates flawlessly.
Don’t know much about the Glock 43. My wife just finished her CC class and needs a reliable pocket weapon. I’m here looking for options.
Thanks! I’ve been thinking of going back to the Walther line. I loved my P99 and I’m sure they’ve made some vast improvements to their models. I like that it’s in 9mm too, which is my favorite ammo. I’ll check out the PPS.
On paper, the P365 seems to be the cat’s meow, but it is not approved in CA due to not having a micro-stamp function.
The tang or beaver's tail has been extended so that it is nearly impossible for the web of your firing hand to get in the way of the slide when it retracts upon firing. No more nasty Walther slide bites.
Berea has even built a locking mechanism with a key right into the weapon itself rendering the weapon impossible to shoot when locked. Great feature when children are visiting.
If you read, or watch the YouTube online reviews you will find that many current and former Walther owners prefer the Berea Thunder 380 over the Walther for these very reasons and more.
One more thing, the Bersa costs about half or more than the Walther.
I’ve carried my Kel-Tec P3AT every day for years in my left front pocket, reversed with a spring clip securing it to the back top of the pocket. I couldn’t be happier, or feel more secure. I laugh the the “gee-whiz” guys that apparently don’t believe that a .380 or a .32 (or a .22) in the boiler room is consequential.
I actually had to strike it very hard to get it one time, I’m a big guy but my thumb couldn’t get it opened pushing as hard as I could.
I have the P32 .32ACP version and have never had a hiccup. I did the fluff and buff on it as soon as I got it in 2001 and have shot JHP and FMJ without issue over the years. I prefer a hot FMJ load myself to get more penetration.
My sister-in-law has a S&W bodyguard and loves it. I have a Taurus .380 and have never found a suitable pocket holster for it, bit I enjoy shooting it.
I am looking for a Rock Island Arms Baby Rock 1911 knock off in .380 myself.
That’s not right. I’d be on the phone to Ruger and have a shipping label sent so they can look at it.
Yes, and it sets up nice.
We were at the range and I found out it shoots straight too.
I usually carry a GLOCK 26 with pinky extenders for the mags. I shoot ny 42 two handed. The only difference is my right thumb has to be off the slide or I catch the slide lock.
