Please don’t say “Miss Congeniality.” It’s a great movie but it’s my mom’s favorite and I’ve had to watch it way too many times in the last two years.
Audience share won’t matter as long as they have sponsors. And what better virtue signalling could a sponsor have that ads on a worthless virtue award show.
Most other entertainment shows ARE interviews with airheads or pretty people in decorative clothing walking down a runway. So they’ve wiped out the only interesting and unique thing about the beauty pageant.
Miss America should test for math skills.

I think the candidate for Miss Universe comes from the the Miss USA pageant, not Miss America. Donald Trump used to have something to do with Miss USA, never Miss America.
You won't "miss" the good stuff by tuning in to Miss USA. (No talents required, other than looks.)
