It was when I was a kid in junior high that I came to the end of my patience with bullies. At thirteen, I was an easy-going young man closing in on 6 1/2 feet tall. On the way there, a lot of my smaller (most all of them were) peers discovered that I would take a lot of ribbing and silently absorb it or laugh it off. One particular morning, however, I was on my way to give a special girl a satin heart full of chocolates, and the candy was balanced precariously on the bundle of schoolbooks I had under my arm. As I was walking down the hall toward her classroom, one of my regular irritations - a normal-sized classmate of mine - attempted to entertain some friends by running up and pushing me from behind. My books and the chocolate box went flying to the floor.
The heart-shaped box sprang open, and the chocolates rolled in all directions. A fight ensued. The perp went home with two black eyes and a bloody nose. All who witnessed my last straw testified in my favor. Our principal completely exonerated me. And no one ever messed with me again. When I got into college, I was 6’10” tall. That tussle in junior high was the very last time I had to use my fists to communicate with anyone. No brag. Just fact. Enough was enough.
I just got an update on my phone that Sarah Sanders and her family were kicked out of a restaurant over “family separation policy” backlash. Anybody else see that?
My step-son put up with bullies until the last day at that school. While they were at an evacuation drill, the bully decided to push him. So he flattened his nose and shoved him down on the ground. My step-son was taken to the principles office where he was told he shouldn’t have done that, but because it was the last day...
The bully never picked on him again.
I think electing Trump was the last straw. Now SHTF time is very near for the DS swamp!

We should stop the family separation policy. If you bring a child you should be immediately loaded up and returned to your own country. The same with unaccompanied children. Send them home

The last straw will be reached when the TV isn’t showing sports, the grocery store shelves are bare, and the reparations bill is passed into law. The slow boil of the Progressive takeover will never be the last straw.
Eventually, it will get bad enough that the one thing necessary to touch off a fight for survival will finally happen. That thing is the certainty that you have nothing left to lose and that a glorious death in battle is far better than the slow, cancerous death of a slave. Even more important, it is also the certainty that making the enemies of Freedom die a glorious death in battle and then pissing on their corpses is far, far better!
Patriots would have elected a new Congress the day after the anti-Trump Congress left over from the lawless Obama Administration began obstructing Trump’s vision for MAGA if they could have.
The problem is that patriots have to deal with constitutionally enumerated election dates which actually protect corrupt lawmakers since the states have never wised up and given themselves the constitutional authority to recall bad-apple lawmakers.
So when the states wake up and repeal the ill-conceived 17th Amendment, the recall amendment should include recall provisions.
The 16th Amendment can disappear too.

I fear it will take something really terrible for a reaction from the Conservative base. It would take something bloody and awful—like the murder of Trump, his wife or child. Or the killing of a Fox News host, or a new big race riot? Only something that is a real threat to the body politic will pull the Free Republic Pajama Warriors away from the sofa and into the streets. Maybe a fake impeachment of Trump over “Russia” and Nancy P. elevated to the White House after Trump/Pence are impeached and imprisoned—and the Democrats are in power in the House and Senate. The closing of Fox News? It would need to be really bad.
My oldest son was big and never had to fight bullies.
His brother was a small puny looking guy. I remember in his seventh grade Lutheran school a huge fellow student was picking on another seventh grader. My son told him to stop. He did not stop. My puny son bloodied his nose and had him on the ground when the teachers pulled him off of the big guy. My wife had to see the principal. She told him that I had taught our sons to defend others and when they got into a fight, they were to win it. The principal agreed and did not punish my son.
