My Mom owned a convenience store she was 14.
Dude came in asking about cigarettes, which were behind me.
I turned around to see what he was asking about and with my back turned, he placed a knife against my ribs and demanded all the money in the time.
Lucky for him, my brother and I forgot we had a shotgun within reach, which was loaded.
If we had remembered, that robber would have died.
So, I carry something everywhere.
Knife, handgun, rifle, lomg knife, etc.
Which ever is practical for where I will be but, knife is always my minimum.
There have been other experiences but,that is the one that affected me most.
It is amazing he didn’t kill more people. Shot his grandmother 7 times and his girlfriend. Wonder what set him off? Wonder if we will be told what he was so upset about?
No. Apparently he had shot one or two family members ...then killed the employee.

I’m very glad you made it home. I’ve had guns pulled on me several times. Ignore the intensive posts, it’s Saturday night and not everyone is, well, it’s Saturday night.
was robbed at knife point. gave the guy couple hundered in cash. the guy was jittery. i figure he needed a shot of heroin. he wasnt a killer.
