I have no idea what is going on in this world today. I was a somewhat pro choice individual , Not for me but who am I to tell a women what to do with her body . This particular bill for abortion in the third trimester until the day of potential birth is murder and nothing but murder . Who in there right mind would think anything other than murder !!! Those of you who think this is ok should rot in hell !!!!

The bill introduced in Virginia (not passed) and that of New York State (now law) are not unique. The State of Rhode Island is following suit.

Two expansive abortion bills were introduced in Rhode Island on Tuesday, including one which would allow abortion-on-demand until birth and end the ban on barbaric partial-birth abortion. The House Judiciary Committee held a meeting Tuesday night to hear testimony on this and three other bills.

Under New York's bill, any healthcare professional can perform an abortion. The irony is that one of the arguments made in Roe v Wade was that this would eliminate back alley abortionists. As it turns out, even pro-abortion doctors and nurses are grossed out by killing nearly-born babies. There’s also the matter of medical malpractice insurance -- no way any insurer wants to be guaranteeing the work of the next Kermit Gosnell. New York’s law also allows just about any health care professional, not just an MD, to do abortions. We can only imagine the horror stories about to occur when some creep with a diploma mill degree starts hacking at away some poor woman’s pregnant body. Trial lawyers take note.

Legalizing abortion at any stage, opened the door to what we are witnessing today. Like other civilizations that came before us, like the Romans and Greeks, we are now slipping down the slope to societal collapse. In many of these state, laws have been passed to protect "defenseless" animals while neglecting the most vulnerable human babies, in the womb.

The DNA argument is a good one, but not always adequate.

Artificial reproduction techniques will eventually get around to human parthenogenesis where the embryo *does* have exactly the same DNA as the mother's. They modify a somatic cell, maybe a stem cell, from the mother to turn it into a genetic duplicate zygote (clone). With animals, they've done this successfully for 25 years now, via somatic-cell nuclear transfer and, more recently, pluripotent stem cell induction.

It's just a matter of time before they do it with humans. But you don't have a right to kill a child, even if it came into being via cloning. It's still a different person.
