Just don't worry so much about what goes on this site. The site has been through many, many conflicts over its years, is filled with diverse beliefs and therefore very interesting. There have been continual wars over Jim Robinson's determination of the rules leading to many bannings and unhappy people chastising the site on other sites.

So, us remaining people, love it here and have watched it go through some tough days. There will always be people who do something you might not like but, remember, they might not like something you do too.

Just live and let live and fight the liberals. Someone irritating today may defend you in a future argument.

While I also have enjoyed the posts from Tonkin, I'm not sure that "Why don't you shut up" is a fair post to someone that apologized, and made a request. I didn't see this as a command, just a suggestion. I also don't see where this person claimed to be speaking for you, just others that may feel the same way.
