I have given up on her. She keeps telling me that calling people(ignorant) uniformed and unaware is not an insult. It also means uneducated, lacking knowledge. Maybe Dums don't think it's an insult, but I do.

I am so tired of listening to her Jew hatting comments and her inability to be consistence in her views. She is all over the map depending on her mood of the day.

Did you hear Rush Limbaugh regarding Kerry's mention of the Cheney's lesbian daughter in the debate ? He basically said it was an attempt to let the "Religious Right" know their daughter is lesbian in hopes to make them stay away from the polls.

What do you think? Would they stay away from the polls because they found that out or would they go to the polls if they knew what his goal was ?? Truth never hurt anybody. If they knew that they were staying home to help elect a POS like Kerry, might they show up ??

I think Rush felt that this would be just one more thing that would backfire on Kerry again .....

I think the reality is that the lie'brals don't realize how many of the conservative religious right have closets in their own houses...if you know what I mean. IOW, just because we're Christians doesn't mean we haven't encountered this in our own families and churches.

And I think that Christian parents would identify with the Cheneys and believe that this would not be a path they chose for their child. Any parent of an adult child could understand that.

I think Rush has a point, but I think he misfires just a bit.

Christian Conservatives won't stay home or vote for Kerry because of this.

Christian DEMOCRAT conservatives who are looking for some way to ease their cognitive dissonance over voting for Kerry might be able to justify ignoring Kerry's opposition to the marriage amendment and historic pro-gay support because the "republicans do the same thing."

Thanks, folks!

Early voting begins Monday morning here in Texas. I plan to be there at 8 a.m. when they open, too!

My fourth vote for Dubya - twice for Governor, and now twice for Prez.

I've been looking forward to this for a long time! .....

I think I'll vote 4 times for Bush. :>)

(Now that the democrat fed judge says that provisional ballots can vote at any precinct...not just their own.)

Oh, seriously? Flew's arguments are quoted as classic anti-theist arguments. Do you know, did he come to Christ, or to Rome or nowhere or some such?

JP wasn't specific. I started to do a search this morning but got distracted with a project. I'll try again.

The show was #2, the segment JP Moreland's.

I don't know Dr. Moreland but I do know a friend of his who can find out more. I've sent him an email.

Here is a good summary of Moreland's claim (2nd story down). Of course Moreland is totally reliable, as you well know.

haha! I'm always careful the way I say that, so some knucklehead doesn't get the wrong impression. :^)

Now that the democrat fed judge says that provisional ballots can vote at any precinct...not just their own.

Huh? what's a 'provisional ballot', and you're saying there is nothing to stop Texans from dropping by multiple voting locations and voting multiple times ??

Think I missed something (posted here on FR). :^O

LOL.

I have a mother stuck in that "brainwashing." It's a fearful thing to behold -- lots of "help the little guy" self-righteousness and old liberal indignation from an otherwise wonderful, generous person.

Yet when you ask her specific questions about homosexuality, the war in Iraq, terrorism, taxes, the Ten Commandments in City Hall, stem cell cannibalism, abortion, etc., she responds as a Conservative.

Stubborn is worse than stupid. 8~(

Sorry....should have mentioned Ohio.

Some Fed Judge just told our Ohio Secretary of State how to run our state. In order to control fraud, our law says you can only vote in the precinct where you're registered. A democratic, Clinton-appointee Fed Judge just told Ken Blackwell, our Sec of State, that anyone can vote in any precinct within a county if they use a provisional ballot.

It's madness and will be chaos. It has been appealed.

Oh, wow. Jim Angle is subbing for Brit Hume on FOX News Special Report and he was talking to someone about this. Crazy. The 'RATS are just totally nuts. Man!

Tell me why someone can go to precinct A but can't go to their own precinct B which cannot be more than 30 miles away. Hamilton County is not that large.

Now they can go to precincts c, d, e, f, g and vote by provisional ballot at each of those places.

Their name will not be on the registry for signature so that their registration can be checked.

It will be the responsibility of each of those precincts to follow up to ensure double voting didn't take place.

Ripe for significant fraud!

(Ken Blackwell for Governor!)
