Rudy. He's been an in an executive position and literally presided over the transformation of this city from a craphole to a rather liveable, safe big city. He clearly stated his principles and objectives, and despite hectoring from the left, he oversaw the changes here.
He was mocked and trashed for insisting that petty crimes (things like turnstile jumping and graffiti) were punished, and not let slide by as had been done in the past. His belief was that if you crack down on the small stuff, you'll discourage most of the worse stuff. Letting small stuff emboldens them to do more, but he cracked down and made a difference.
He's also incredibly fair and incorruptible.
And after 9/11, I'd practically crawl over broken glass to work for any campaign that he might choose to wage.
I totally agree! Rudy would be a great choice. Some people might disagree with some of his policys but you are never going to please everybody. After 9/11, America fell in love with Rudy and I believe he is totally electable. I don't think he would put up with the vote fraud either.
