Well I have gotten at least a week's reprieve.........hubby realized he underestimated how much drywall he needed by at least one sheet, but by that time the lumber yard was already closed. Plus there is one section that is going to have to be completely redone. He's going to have to pack it out with 2x4's because apparently the entire roof line was done by sight and it floats all over the place.
And I can breathe again.
Honey, I can do dinner for 20 on a moment's notice.......the point here is the inconsiderate HUSBAND who will be contributing NOTHING to doing the dinner.

Had a 1-ft stream in the yard.
Half is going to be a closet - there are only 2 in this house and the other half will be office so we can get our desks and computers, etc out of the living room and dining room where they currently reside.
I know the feeling, believe me.
LOLOLOL we had water shooting out of those downspouts about four feet before it touched th ground.
Knock on wood we haven't had that kind of rain now in about a month..........but it seems like we had it at least twice a week for nearly a year. The ground is finally starting to dry out around here.
Some idiot was talking last week about the BRAC list - oh yeah, Moran.
He said they were going to close Belvior and Dahlgren.

You have to bear with me - I'm still getting used to the numbers of state legislators and congress critters here - I only had to keep track of 3 in the congressional delegation and 62 in the legislature in Delaware.
coop and xs LOVE to rag on me, because Moran is FC & McLean - they are both in Fairfax. All of us used to be in Moran's district, until the last jerrymander. Then, it turns out, they were freed, and I am stuck with the jerk.

I had a go round with someone at VA GOP HQ back in October because the map on the website said I was in the 1st Congressional District and my voter registration (and my own knowledge)said I was in the 2nd district. It seems they didn't bother updating the website after the redistricting, or updated it rather poorly.
I haven't bothered with dealing with them any more - I got all the info I needed from my State Senator's office and am the newest member of the county GOP committee and they welcomed me with open arms, in spite of my DE background (very evil grin here)
Did they give you a secret decoder ring? Because if they didn't give you the ring, you ain't got that thing...
