Yes, I know your links were praising Ann. That is why they had no place in this discussion.

I wanted to discuss WHY so many freepers love Ann so much. Not to read more "I love Ann" type posts.

I would still like to have that conversation with someone mature enough to actually do it.

So you aren't interested in my offer to pull posts from Coulter threads?

I forgot this from your last post to me:

So then you aren't interested in my challenge?

I don't know what the challenge was, I must have missed it.

I have watched the show on and off from the time he started. I was glad they finally found someone to do it. Killborn was a conceited bore and an un-American hater of America. He once put the cross hairs of a rifle scope on a picture of President Bush. Didn't get in trouble for that.

I like Ferguson's sense of humor, he is quite funny.

I have pretty much stated what I would have wanted to see. Which is for him to have been more professional and not so competitive. It was obvious he was intimidated just by the fact that Coulter was on his show, and he let his manly ego get in the way of a good interview. JMO.

If he didn't want to talk politics, why the heck did he ASK her if her family was political? You see, he wanted to wait until she was off guard to ask the political questions, but she is seldom off guard. That is what makes her such a good Conservative pundit.

Credit, smedit, it's just a late nite talk show...:>)

Goodness. That is from several different posts right?

Yea, that I think was from 130 or so.

Your lucky I bit my fingers and didn't type what I was thinking after posting that...

I don't think you are a liberal. But you do in fact use their tactics. The broad brush of the mini-skirt and all men attracted to Ann physically, and that being the only reason we like her.

Not true with me and many others on this thread, many have posted that they are not attracted to her at all physically. I certainly am not.

I have seen too few Conservative pundits that can hold their own with the vicious liberal media people that love to trip them up.

BTW, I have never seen her being a bully.

There is much in your post that I agree with.

The "challenge" was actually more of an "offer" to take a few Coulter threads and post the comments from them.

That way we could see just how many of those comments were about her mind and quick wit and how many were about her appearance.

But you and I both know what we would find, I think.

Look, I don't want to argue with you. I've read other posts of yours and I do respect you. I just don't agree with the Coulter love going on here.

Do you think it's best to just stop here?

Were you going to be bad?

I agree that Ann can hold her own. No argument there.

But there are times when she could be warmer, softer and yes, less of a bully and those are the times that she could show young females that it is cool to be conservative.

Here's what I think. I think he is the kind of man who is used to charming women. Especially American women, with that Scottish accent.

He may have been a bit shocked that she didn't go for it.

Yes, I know your links were praising Ann. That is why they had no place in this discussion.

Now that is absurd. I reject the word "praise" in regards to my comments, because you make it into a negative action, just because you have your mind set on the idea that there is nothing good about her.

Plus, I'm sorry, but if someone likes Coulter it is silly to say their posts have no place in this conversation. Heck, this thread started out in praise of her as she appeared again on TV and helped our Conservative principles.

Sorry you didn't like her mouth comment, I would have liked to have seen it put a little more delicately also.

Craig asked her if she thought Clinton would hit on her, and that was her answer. Anyone in a skirt with a mouth. But, you know, that is Clinton in a nutshell!

When he asked her when did she get angry, her response was something mentioning liberals always think of her as being angry.

He got defensive thinking she was calling him a liberal, which she wasn't.

But she did go along with it, and say well, maybe it was an assumption. And then she said, Well, this is CBS isn't it....quite fitting I think so.

Now is that the negative "praising" Ann, or just facts? My links were filled with facts disputing someones misinterpretation of her words, not just praise.

Sorry, that is not my style. I am an literalist and a documentarian and like to stick with reality and facts.

Yes, I know your links were praising Ann.

How do you know that, you said you wouldn't read them. Do you know how many liberals give negative reviews for Conservative Authors without even READING their books???

BTW, I don't "love" that easily. I don't love Ann. I do like her for her mind though.

I would still like to have that conversation with someone mature enough to actually do it.

Why was it someone said you have a condescending attitude earlier??? You seem to assume there is only one mature poster on this thread, and that person is you. Good Grief!

What ever blows your skirt up. (A phraze I learned in the oil fields of West Texas...)

I think the post thingie is futile. A waste of time, and kind of Obsessive.

Perhaps you would also like to find the ones where you are bashed and compare them with the number of your posts where you bash Coulter. Naw, that's too easy...

Syncro, I remember everything you are saying, but I seem to recall a different order to some of it. Which would make a world of difference in who started what.

I would prefer not to continue a discussion of the actual show unless you happen to have a transcript.

I'm happy to discuss where I think Ann could help us and where she tends to hurt.

Or not discuss it anymore at all.

I believe you when you say you admire Ann for her sharp mind.

However a very large number of men here comment far more often on her appearance.

In my opinion I think that often blinds "some people" to her actual performances.

She's usually right, but she also tends towards dominance, not discussion.

Take a look at the Ann montage you linked for me. She is only comfortable when she's in control and she talks as fast as she possibly can just to keep the upper hand.

It makes for good TV, but it doesn't show anyone that being a conservative is a good thing.

Like I said in the other posts, she COULD be showing young women that you can be smart and attractive and conservative. Too often she shows the narrow mindedness that we are always accused of (falsely)

We need to attract more voters. I wish Ann would help with that. With her high profile, she's a perfect person to do that.

She could still be the debating queen, but show her warm fun side during silly little shows like this one.

Just my opinion.

LOL, no I am a nice guy! I was just going to ask if you had the t-shirt that says "I wish these were brains."

*ducking* LOL

...less of a bully and those are the times that she could show young females that it is cool to be conservative.

Well, she is not being a bully. The Liberals are bullies all the time. Conservatives come off as either bullies or pansies. Better to be seen erroneously as a bully than be a wimp.

I think that Ann Coulter is doing a fine job showing young people (male and female)and older ones too how to be a good conservatives. Assertive and bold...like you. Cool is passe.

Syncro, if I didn't think you were the one who was mature enough to have that conversation I wouldn't still be trying to discuss it with you.

I think I see one of the problems you and I are having. Now, please understand that what I am going to say is NOT a flame or even anything negative.

My youngest daughter and I can't discuss things very well because she is a left brain thinker and I am a right brain thinker.

You must be a left brain thinker also. You take everything very literally and I see my comments as "general".

That makes it hard for us to truly understand each other.

I have said several times now that I respect you. Do you not believe me?

Of all the people who I have engaged in conversation on this thread and all who have engaged me, I think you are the most interesting person to discuss this with.

Tammy

The only thread you are going to find where I have ANYTHING at all to say about Ann is this one.

I've never said one thing about her before. Truly.

ROFL!!!! That would have been okay with me, I think those shirts are hilarious!

I have young people all the time in my house. Young men and women in their twenties. Since my TV is almost always on Fox, many of them have seen Ann in action.

To a person, they have expressed a negative opinion. That includes my youngest who is the most right wing fanatic I have ever met.

So, we adults see things much differently than the new voters.

I sure do. He also took her hand and walked her to the sofa.

He didn't hold hands with Donny Osmond. :-)

Syncro, I remember everything you are saying, but I seem to recall a different order to some of it. Which would make a world of difference in who started what.

Well the order I referenced is how it happened. Right off of the tape.

I would prefer not to continue a discussion of the actual show unless you happen to have a transcript.

I don't have a transcript, but I do have the tape. I am obsessed with Ann and tape her every appearance. Just Kidding!

I have tapes of Hannity, Scorci, O'Neil, Melanie Morgan, and scores of others.

I'm happy to discuss where I think Ann could help us and where she tends to hurt.

Thanks, but I don't really need to discuss that. I think she is doing fine.

Or not discuss it anymore at all.

Excellent! Hay, men like to talk about women that are attractive. A few may only like Ann because of what she looks like, but I think most of the "droolers" as you call them...like her quick wit and her ability to make liberals cry and swear and throw food because they cannot debate a sharp mind. Heck, look at the Senate! They are starting to look like the British House of Commons! LOL

I didn't link the montage to you, but I have seen it. I think it is excellent. You HAVE to talk fast and loud on TV or the liberals will shout you down!

Listen, the little sissy Democrats and other assorted Liberals HAVE to be dominated...they are begging for it.

Let me ask you this, are you comfortable when you are not in control? Of course she must maintain control, or they will destroy her.

I disagree about it not showing being a Conservative is a good thing. That is the problem, milquetoast Rinos have ruined the Republican party pretty much. The Democrats are getting all scrunched up now that a few conservatives are speaking out.

I think Ann does show a warm side myself. I laughed out loud at some of the things she has said on this show and others. She does a good job.
