The irresolute men on the right
And the women, all ran from the fight
Yes, when push came to shove
They released the white dove
And they all slithered off in the night

What a perfect word for today. The irresolute compromise merely takes Executive power away from the President and gives it to congress. Read the whole stupid thing and prepare to be outraged. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Vote 'em ALL out and start over, buncha irresolute pansies.

That last word might excite Sen. Graham. I think it's what he's been looking for.

i read on a thread last night that the pretty SouthCarolinian stated affirmatively that he would NOT be swayed by calls from his conservative constituent base re' the filibuster, so he does this filthy deed and then immediately starts bleating about being a CONSERVATIVE? conservative, my BEHIND!

And more than that, they have the "extraordinary circumstances" clause for the Dems, which means if they find a candidate falls under this ambiguous term (like if they are 'conservative'), then they can filibuster ye hold the Republicans feet to the fire.

Effing RINOs!!!

He didnt give away the store.

The Dems were gonna vote for Cloture anyway. They really ahd no choice. I said as much yesterday. So, while on its face the dems got something for nothing, JRB will get put through....and that mitigates the fight if she gets nominated to SCOTUS.
