My guess is that Katie Holmes has been picked by Cruse's cult handlers to be his therapy, much the way they paired Crhiste Alley with John Travolta.

Here's a link to an old article on Hollywood and Scientology that I just came across. An interesting tidbit that I gleaned from the article is that the Church of Scientology gained tax exempt status under Clinton and that is probably the biggest draw for Hollywood stars, since they turn over all their earnings to the cult which in turn manages the funds and provides the stars with their celebrity life style, all tax free. No wonder these guys want us to raise taxes!

Given that it's about celebrities I'd agree....but the scientology angle does highlight the fact that this happens more than we know about...except we don't, because the people aren't celebs.

Anybody who's able to bring themselves to believe in goofball alien-visitation doctrines cooked up by a hack science fiction writer trying to get rich isn't exactly bumping up against the I.Q. ceiling to start with.
