They did have plenty of school buses available, though.

Bullhorns do not move people. They have to move themselves. The only ones who can blame the government are the infirm and children.

Well, he's sort of right... The local government should've been out in force all weekend assisting and facilitating the evacuation. The bullhorns would have been as useful as those school buses the local government allowed to be taken by the flooding. Neither were put into play.

And a thirteen year old kid smart enough to drive at least one of them to Houston with some evacuees aboard.

Though come to think, NOLA may have a shortage of bull horns, but Mr. Penn has no shortage of bull corn.

.

HILLARY is now telling GRETA on FoX that the Media must keep this story up front so that the American People don't forget about our need to follow thru on this over the "months and years ahead."

Sean Penn's knowledge of the real world is apparently rather limited. He doesn't know that every squad car in New Orleans has a loudspeaker built in. Hasn't Penn ever watched cops, where in a dangerous situation the officer will stay in his car, and use his microphone to talk to the perp outside or in another car?

No, the lack in the City was not bullhorns. It was brains. Here's the equation: buses + time + a decision to use them = evacuation of everyone in New Orleans. On the other hand, buses + time - a decision to use them = flooded buses and dead citizens. I thought Penn was supposed to be a bright guy. Is this so hard to understand?

Yep, they're in the Dark Ages down in The Big Easy.

I went to college on the east coast. You can expand that perception to the whole south...

"Yep, they're in the Dark Ages down South."

How many times have libs said that poor people voted for Bush in spite of what was "best" for them.

From the Herald Sun (AU) article today to which Drudge linked:

With the boat loaded with members of Penn's entourage, including a personal photographer, one bystander taunted the actor: "How are you going to get any people in that thing?"

What a total tool.
